This is a quick & very simple Eatery. It's nothing fancy but it'll fill your belly at a decent price.

The worst breakfast ever! How do you make scrambled eggs rubbery? The toast was burnt and the waitress said the cook might want to charge you again. Really? OMG! The bacon was like cardboard...then it was beyond filthy! Stay far away from here!

This still has the small town home feel to it. Prices are fantastic, the servers are great, and the general atmosphere will bring you back. 100% recommend

Yikes. My husband and I stopped in around 9am for breakfast. Maybe not the most popular time for breakfast but there was not a sole there, except the waitress who was posted up at a table. That alone and the drab atmosphere should have been enough to turn around and walk out. But we didn’t, big mistake. We both ordered home fry based dishes. The potatoes seemed like they were boiled and never touched a hot grill, mushy with no color or flavor. Mine said it came with cheese, well that was two slices of processed American cheese that was clearly melted in a microwave. We asked for sausage with the country fries dish, they said no they wouldn’t do that, but I could get sausage on the side and cut it up myself. The waitress never once stopped by to ask how things were or if we needed anything. Only thing I can give them is that it’s cheap.

Where to start? We were traveling thru, figure try a small town diner. Well we were surprised!. When walking in the grey carpet was black where everyone walks. Place looked like an abandoned place from the 70's. We were told sit anywhere, should have sat someplace else. We placed our orders wife got soup and sandwich, I ordered sandwich. They don't like special requests like extra mayo on the side. My wife soups came out, and I asked if like to try some. The waitress was like your asking now? She was in a huff, I said never mind, she said she would get it, I said it's to late, don't bother. We should have left them. My wife sandwich had Swiss cheese that was at least few weeks old and hard. As we ate we discussed we should buy the place and fire everyone. We were asked if we wanted dessert, they had nothing in the case other then dead flies. We left, hoping we wouldn't get sick.
I know this is harsh, but the diner should take pride in presenting a clean, fresh environment and food being at least edible.

When we were there it was quiet. Service was quick. The baked chicken was delicious and the special of the day. It included 2 whole chicken leg quarters. It's a simple place and the food wasn't fancy but I really enjoyed it. My meal was under $9 and the chicken was enough for 2 meals. Plenty of parking. A nice country restaurant.

I used to go in here from time to time. Last place on earth that still sells home made slices of really good Betty Crocker- like chocolate cake with vanilla icing. Ahhh just like Mom made. And their breakfast really isn’t bad at all. I like their omelets. So there is that. However, the service is hit or miss. I had to wait a long time to be served on multiple locations. Staff seems like a low energy group. The worst part though is the place needs to be deep cleaned and completely renovated. The side room is nasty. Floors, rugs, chairs , tables are extremely dated. Clair’s needs a Go Fund me page or something. $150k remodel would do wonders for that place. It’s in a decent location with ample parking.
