“Food is very good. Even if it were just ok, I would still recommend this place because of the super friendly staff. I always get very good service with a smile.”
“We love coming here to pick apples and berries. Apple cider donuts are delicious too. They have a really great fall fest set up during fall season for kids. A great family place. A nice little market inside with plenty of local food goodies.”
“Tonight was our first visit, we will be back. The hostess was a little cold, she didn't go out of her way to be welcoming, maybe she just had a long day.Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was good and was served fairly quickly. The prices were a little on the high side but the quality was good.”
“We had a gathering here. Kim was very gracious to allow this when we were turned away from many other locations. Food was good, service was good and friendly. Location was good and clean, but a little warm inside ( could have been all our bidy heat?.) Would recommend! Will come again!!”
“How much Custard should be in a lage dish? I got a small one day and a large the next. The small was noticeably more than the large. So did I get a large or a small twice?.... Update, I got a large both times. Thanks ?”
“love arby's other sandwiches . especially the brisket is excellent at all the locations i ordered foodKid-friendliness: nice clean indoor dining room , self service with machine drinks , paper items and condimentsParking: they all have their own parking lotsWheelchair accessibility: first floor , eady entrance”
“Following a family issue, the name of this restaurant is no longer Tony Luke’s rather it is now known as Tony and Nick's Steaks, after the owners Anthony Lucidonio Sr. and his son Nicholas Lucidonio. For those of us who have been coming here for years, the only change is the name. The cheesesteaks are the same they’ve always been, my personal favorite is sharp provolone with. Unlike other cheesesteak restaurants in Philly, they have parking and a weather protected seating area. Not quite a dining room, but there are four walls and heat. As long as the food doesn’t change, I’ll keep coming back and bringing my out-of-town friends with me.”
“food was great .. was skeptical of it as i approached because of them not having any customers BUT ... i was fooled . the food was great , burger cooked too the Tee .. customer service was great , forgot shawty name but she was nice . actually both of the lovely waitresses . All the way from philly , i approve ??”
“Went in tonight.... sat by the fireplace and they nicely lit the fireplace up for us. Had prime rib and it was amazing. Great service great drinks great place. We had appetizers as well very good!!!!!Parking: Plenty of parking”
“Cute little coffee shop/ diner. Good coffee. Pretty good food. Smaller portions but good pricing. Friendly staff. Very strict on breakfast time. 11:31 no more breakfast.”
“I used to eat here as a child and finally convinced my husband who never ate here to go. He was amazed at the huge portions and how reasonable priced it was. Definitely going back.”
“In the quiet town of Morganville, nestled amidst the serene countryside of Pennsylvania, stood the timeless Windmill Restaurant. Within its unassuming walls, a symphony of flavors unfolded, captivating the weary souls in search of respite and sustenance. And amid this culinary haven, there was Gina, the radiant epitome of a magnificent waitress - swift, friendly, and a true artist of her craft. Like a gust of wind, Gina swiftly navigated the bustling dining room with grace that echoed the fluid motions of a seasoned dancer. Her efficient strides and attentive nature ensured no glass remained empty, no plate lingered untouched. In her presence, time seemed to move with an effortless fluidity, allowing the patrons to indulge in the feast that awaited them. Speaking of feasts, the Windmill's homemade chicken corn soup was a revelation that lingered on the palate like a fond memory. With each spoonful, the soul-warming broth embraced the tender morsels of chicken and the sweet crunch of fresh corn. A symphony of flavors danced upon the tongue, carrying those fortunate enough to taste it to a realm where comfort and culinary brilliance intertwined. But the ultimate crescendo came in the form of the Apple dumpling à la mode. Served warm, the golden crust enveloped a tender core of cinnamon-infused apples, their sweetness blending harmoniously with the rich, velvety embrace of creamy vanilla ice cream. It was the sort of dessert that transported one back to simpler times, where pleasures were uncomplicated yet unforgettable. In the midst of this culinary symphony, one could not help but be entranced by Gina's unwavering charm. From offering insightful suggestions to sharing heartfelt anecdotes, her friendly nature created an atmosphere of camaraderie, bringing strangers together as if they were old friends. Her genuine care and magnetic personality elevated the Windmill experience from exceptional to extraordinary. So, to Gina at the Windmill Restaurant, I raise my glass in homage. You are the embodiment of Hemingway's unwavering belief in the power of exceptional service. With your swift steps, warm smile, and unparalleled recommendations, you transformed each dining experience into a masterpiece. And within the walls of the Windmill, you created a tapestry of flavors, memories, and friendships that will endure the test of time.”
“Small but everyone's friendly. They have extended the smoking section. And offer complimentary drinks of course except tipping. Only downside was bar wasn't open on a Saturday at 1 pm just wanted a Bloody Mary.”
“I drive to Harrisburg several times a week and usually hit a McDonald's in Philly on my way out but yesterday decided to wait and stop at this one I keep seeing off the turnpike. I'm glad I did because the food matched the pictures on the board and the service was perfect and fast. The guy who took my order then went to go start cleaning the place. Great employee to just keep working without directions. Going to stop here every time.”
“For excellent, locally roasted coffee- you should be here. The passion for their craft is inspiring. Personal fav- The Dirty Chai, I won’t go to therapy without one.”
“Romeo's is an absolute gem! The food is exceptional. When we need a casual lunch or dinner when hosting guests, I never hesitate to serve them Romeo's. Not only is the food outstanding, their customer service is superb, something lacking in other restaurants. They genuinely want you to have an fantastic experience with their food and service. We LOVE Romeo's!”
“My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Saturday night out at Meraki Manor. We sat at the bar with Kearstin, and several "regulars" like Ed, and a nice mature couple from Geigertown. All were very welcoming. The food was fantastic. We shared Stuffed Mushrooms, Stuffed Shrimp, Scallops, and an amazing Filet. Got some Maryland Bisque, and Lemon Cake to go. Again, fantastic ! Best, best, food and atmosphere we have enjoyed in quite a while. Loved it ! Also, the owners, and the rest of the staff were equally as friendly. Can't wait to go back !!”
“Reasonable BBQ, though you won't confuse this with Southern style. Brisket served bathing in au jous. Salty. Focused more on cost/serving size than quality.”
“We had my daughter’s 3rd birthday party there yesterday. Kelly was amazing she decorated the party perfectly our theme was unicorn. The service was awesome, the food and ice cream cake were so good. The party games were fun, the prizes for the kids to pick after they won coins was so fun. The price was amazing Kelly sets up and cleans up, buys the decorations, gets the food, they do the ice cream cake, play games, win prizes, party favors, drinks and bowls of snacks are all included in the price. You just show up and have fun. Highly highly recommend.”
“My wife and I love Twin Valley Coffee. It is our weekly ritual to spend every Saturday morning enjoying a cold brew with caramel and sweet cream. The best coffee in the area and the service is fantastic. We also love to grind their Jamaican Me Crazy whole bean coffee at home. Simply the best!”
“A hidden gem. This pizza place is very unassuming from the outside, but on the inside they have some of the best pizza I've eaten in Pennsylvania. Buy it by the pie or the slice ? I haven't had a bad meal and I've been sporadically dining here since 2014. Highly recommend.”
“The food was great the staff was professional and the place was clean. I personally had a hard time getting in due to being handicapped. No ramp. But the place is ”
“Their food is very good and has very reasonable prices. I personally recommend trying the bruschetta pizza. A great place for a casual lunch, though the restaurant itself has a fairly small dining area, so take out may be best for dinner. The employees are nice and speedy, and occasionally Sal will host special events, like pasta night.”
“If you get the chance to stop in to papa marks, don’t hesitate! Joel’s speciality pizza will leave you craving it 24/7. The staff always leaves a smile on my face every-time I come in. It is truly a hidden gem!”
“I received a pound cake, carrot cake muffin and chocolate chip cookie for a birthday gift. The box arrived wrapped quite well a day filled with inspirational quotes and some candies as well. The added treats were an unexpected and welcome surprise. While I didn't enjoy the cookie or the muffin, the pound cake was so fantastic that I ate almost half of it in one sitting!!! Light, airy, succulent morsels made a rainy day feel like a sun drenched oasis. Just the right amount of sugar and butter, didn't need the powdered sugar it came it. Ate some at room temp and some warmed, it is the perfect accompaniment for your favorite coffee or tea. You definitely want this pound cake at least once in life.”
“The best ice cream join in the area! Do yourself a favor and eat your ice cream there in a nice family focused environment. Plenty of staff for superior service.”
“Just left after having a rainy day lunch on the patio with our pup. We’ve been there before but have never had such an accommodating server when it comes to having our dog at a restaurant. Fran was quick to bring us a dog bowl of water, and when we asked if it was possible to get a side of bacon (she’s spoiled, I know) he brought us a a small cup of bacon for our pup. It made the experience so enjoyable as we're working on getting our dog comfortable with social outings. Fran anticipated our needs and was quick with everything we asked for. We look forward to coming back and hope to see Fran again! Thank you!”
“My husband and I had a good time here on Comedy Night. In all there were four comics, with the last being the best. The food was excellent. We had crab cakes for appetizers, the Mediterranean Salad with Chicken, and Burger Salad for entrees. And a Green beer for me, as it was St. Patrick's Day weekend. We hope to return again, maybe as soon as Trivia Night ?”
“Always a pleasure eating at a local place with amazing foodSince i posted this review a year ago i have become quite a regular at this perfect establishment. Its family owned and operated, the employees makes you feel at home with laughs and jokes. There are no shortages or smiles and warm food here.Parking: A good amount of parking that can accommodate about 40 carsWheelchair accessibility: Establishment has an ada compliment ramp”
“The rolls were amazing! Got two special rolls the sweetheart and fireball. Both were delicious! The flavor and texture were amazing, they were also generously filled.I admit, I'm not one to order rolls or sashimi that have slices of raw fish, as I tend to have a hard time with the texture and taste. The first time I was introduced to sashimi it was a thick slice of chewy fish that was not pleasant to my palate. However, Sumo Sushi may have turned this around. The sweetheart roll had a slice of tuna on the outside that was delicately flavored and buttery soft, it may have completely changed my mind about these types of rolls! I look forward to trying more of their selection in the future. Thank you so much!!”
