Following a family issue, the name of this restaurant is no longer Tony Luke’s rather it is now known as Tony and Nick's Steaks, after the owners Anthony Lucidonio Sr. and his son Nicholas Lucidonio. Tony Luke's puts attention into their cheesesteaks and you can tell after one bite. Their menu is varied and you are bound to find something you like. Portions are on the big side and you likely will feel full. The original is better than the off-site locations as the menu is bigger. Seating is ample as are the napkins! If you go to Philly, this is one of those places you MUST go to - more than Geno's or Pat's.

Brought my family in town from Italy for some cheesesteaks after a 76ers game. Got there at 10pm, close at 11pm. Ordered a couple steaks, they ran out of copper sharpe (you’ve got one job selling cheese and steak) got them originally instead. They closed the dining area so we ate them on the counter. Got yelled at and told “I guess he can’t read” when we walked to the other side (no sign by the way). Then got told we can’t eat inside and it was supposed to be take out...read full review
