“Staying close by and decided to try. This place gets a crowd and we were fortunate to only have a 20ish minute wait. The wings were great size and delicious, as was the shroom burger. We would definitely had back there when we're in town“

“This is a members(men only) only club. Once a member, you may bring your wife/girlfriend whenever you go.The place is great to hang out and have a couple of drinks. The cheapest drinks you will find but that do not deflect from the service, which is incredible.Stop in a see how to become a member!!!!Does not serve food but does have snacks and sandwiches to buy.“

“This bar is such a fun time!! We come here often and the drinks are great and very reasonably priced. The bartender Peyton makes great drinks and and is super nice and attentive- even when it gets busy. Music is great, atmosphere is great, and they have darts!“

“Great bands everyone like family it's a very old bar and everyone knows everyone. They hold fundraiser to help with if a regular that everyone knew has passed they will have fundraiser to help the family with expenses or with medical needs and can't afford it.If you don't like loud music from great bands or smoking this isnt the place for you but if you dont mind it. The staff is so nice and always cheerful?“

“This place is so underrated. I don't get it, the parking lot is practically empty all the time but this place is legit the best restaurant in the area. The food is always unique, the draft beer selection is second to none in this town (have to go to Lancaster city or Harrisburg to compete with this). Music selection is good, servers are chill... I don't get why this place isn't packed. If u pass thru Etown u need to go to the Black Gryphon.“

“Be careful if going here. It looks like they are having real issues with trouble makers, which can happen with any tavern along the river. About 10 days ago they confronted a person outside who refused to pay. That guy pulled a gun on the employee and threatened to shoot them in the head. Look online, you'll see the news story. We went there with another couple anyway for supper aware of the situation that possibly the management wasn't able to keep the trouble out of the place. Within minutes Courtney had our drinks at the table and placed our food orders ... and then some white trash at the bar left out a super loud screech or whistle looking for attention. It was bad. Then he did it again a few minutes later and left. One more time and I'd have gotten involved. The owner needs to hire some beefy enforcement right now to keep a handle on this or the place is going to get a reputation like the Bainbridge Inn as a good place to raise hell and start a fight. NOT date night atmosphere.“

“Came here for my nieces first communion I got the 16 oz NY strip it was delicious very flavorful and the garlic mash was to die for. Only thing I would change is the chairs outside but it’s about the food not what you sit on. I rate this experience 9.7/10“

“My husband and I have been coming here once or twice a year for many years, we used to bring our kids when they were younger after a mini golf game at Jim Macks. We always get the same thing, my husband gets a large pepperoni pizza and I get a cheesesteak hoagie. We always think maybe we will try something else but we end up getting our usual because we love it. Always friendly service and don't mind waiting a little longer for the pizza.“

“My neighbor took me here, it's my first time eating here. We had the potato skins with seafood, & I had the mini salad, crabcake & fries. There were so many items on the menu, I couldn't decide, especially after viewing the photos on Facebook. Our waitress was VERY busy, it took a little while for service, but worth the wait! Very nice atmosphere. I will be back to try something different.“

“Great experience on my first time in. My lovely wife and I stopped in for lunch today and were met with a friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. We ordered the fish tacos , which were amazing,the Cajun sausage and shrimp pasta, also amazing, and a house salad Topped with thousand island dressing. Pictures below. Stop in and grab a cold one if ya can.“

“Wow….the service here from Eddie and Jen is out of this world! We rarely go out anymore because prices are crazy and people are awful. So glad we came here - great food, UNBELIEVABLE service, and fair prices. We’ll be back for sure!!!“
