Country Pie Shoppe Reviews
I truly hate to make bad reviews, but I made a purchase tonight, and the quality of the cookies were absolutely horrible! The cookies were so hard that I could knock on them and they didn’t break. I wanted to support local, but with the quality of the product, I’m not sure if I will be back.
This place has gone down hill the last 3 times that I stopped. Today I purchased 4 pastries for $16 and they were stale and should have been on the reduced rack. Last time 1 got a Cherry pie and it had some kind of dye that turned my fingers red and the time before the fruit ring was so soggy and had no pastry dough. I won’t be stopping there again after many years of patronage !
I was in a few days ago and purchased two pepperoni rolls, maple cinnamon roll, and chocolate chip cookie. My cinnamon roll was hard on the outside, and there was maybe two pieces of pepperoni in my pepperoni rolls.

The Country Pie Shoppe offers a variety of treats including giant buckeyes, mini and regular pies, cookies, and donuts. Customers have praised their fresh, buttery, and flaky pie crusts, especially their blueberry and raspberry pies. The shoppe is a popular choice for parties due to their delicious cakes and rich icing. However, some reviews mention that their non-pastry items are just average. Employee friendliness varies, with some reports of pleasant interactions and others describing staff as unenthusiastic. Despite this, the shoppe's charm keeps customers coming back, particularly after skiing or camping at Laurel Hill State Park. It's recommended to try their pies, but be aware that popular options sell out quickly.
