I am shocked this place gets such good reviews. We were there for dinner and it was very disappointing. We showed up stood in the entryway for 5-10 minutes before someone asked us if we had a reservation. We did have a reservation, but they couldn't find it. Then told us to sit anywhere. The service was super slow. We waited quite a while to order. There only seemed to be one server for the entire restaurant. She was running around everywhere. No one checked on us for refills. It took 20 minutes to get a second beer (after I was done with the first). The food was mediocre at best. I ended up spending almost $200 for a mediocre meal. I would not go back.

Do not order the chicken parm, it was inedible. Forks has a limited menu, so everything should be decent. Chicken was so tough that I couldn't even cut it easily with a knife & the cheese was barely melted on top? How did the chef allow this plate to leave the kitchen??? We've been here 5 or 6 times, but this time was our last. Nice patio-style outdoor area & so cute inside as well. Atmosphere 5 stars, Food 1. Service was satisfactory.

Delicious dinner and wonderful service from our super personable server Amber! Here for the weekend and almost cancelled our reservation due to the rain, so glad we didnt! Best meal I have had in a long time, and this is coming from someone who eats out often. Atmosphere was very warm and inviting, especially if you like old world charm like we do! I was worried the peaceful dining room wouldn’t be suitable for my 4 year old but Amber made us feel right at home and we were grateful! Poppy seed dressing, beef stew, and lobster ravioli were highlights of our meal. The cranberry jalapeno marg with smoky salt put to shame the bland margarita our lodging charged us twice the price for earlier in the evening. Very well done dinner & presentation. We will definitely recommend and hope to visit again when back in the Poconos!

My friend and I are visiting for the weekend. We ordered the clam chowder and filet mignon. The clam chowder was amazing. It was our favorite dish of the evening.
