My family and I came for breakfast on a Sunday morning, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We waited over an hour for our food, even though the restaurant was not very busy. Our orders were simple—eggs and toast—which should not take that long to prepare. The service was slow and frustrating, and the wait was not worth it. I would not recommend this place, especially if you’re traveling from far away expecting a timely meal.

My husband and I brought a ton of our friends here the morning after our wedding nearby and had a great breakfast! The food was exactly what we needed, so good, the staff was so friendly and accommodating of our bigger party, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. They put our leftover wedding cake in the fridge and brought it out for us after we finished our scrapple. Can't thank them enough for their hospitality!

Horrible service, i was just here this past weekend with my husband and family and i’ve never seen such an unorganized, chaotic, and neglectful place. Our waitress was very rude to us and we also caught her being rude to every other staff member in the diner. Our food was cold. I asked for a refill on my coffee at-least 3 times and I still never got it. The manager of the place seemed rude as well running around screaming at her employees. When my husband came back from the bathroom he said the toilet was leaking which is unsafe for a restaurant. As much as we wanted to like this restaurant since it was so close to our air bnb we couldn’t stand it and had to drive further to find something edible. Shame.

Ordered Cheese steak with fries to go. Usually, I'm only able to eat half a sub, However, the steak was so tender and delicious, I are the whole thing, and the fries. I'll definitely go back to mountain home diner when I visit my cousins again.

Waited for over 1 hour for the food to be served. We did not complain as the server were older people’s. Later the lady with face full of make ups, fake eyelashes started the shift, who later dealt with our bills. Since we spent above 1 hour 30 minutes just for the breakfast, we were not looking forward to tip extra. But this lady requested us to tip on cash. We did not want to yet, decided to just give 2 dollars and the bill was for 28 dollars. Ohh my, she was adamant to get more than that and we were forced to pay 5 dollars and leave.. Horrible experience.. And that lady had just started the shift.. WOWW.. the audacity.. if I could then I would give 0 star
