We started off a little rough as our Spanish is rusty. The folks here are nice though. We weren’t sure what to order, so we were given a sample of the pork, rice, and potato salad. The price was roughly $15 for our lunch (we ordered these three things) . An empanada was $2 and a soda was a few bucks. Overall, every thing here was fantastic. The meal was so good and had enough food that we only needed to split one entree. We only wish that we had a little more time to talk about the food for next time. We tried a little soup and talked a bit with the people.

They'll take your money, cancel the ENTIRE order because they're out of ONE item, never contact you despite having your email and phone number, then literally yell at you when you call to find out what's going on. Oh, and good luck getting your $$ back. Out over $50 because they say they didn't take my money, but it's gone from my account. Also insist they don't use Doordash, but the driver who called me (how i found out it was cancelled) says she delivers from there multiple times a week. (And doordash had my order when i called them, but the restaurant "doesn't use doordash"). Very shady people, sad because i heard the food was good. But nah, I'll take my business back to the city where people know how to treat their customers with respect. Hope they have the profits they deserve for conning people!

Kid-friendliness: Also the white rice with beans in sauce. Everything was really good and I’m calling it kid-friendly because my 4 year old loves yellow rice and peas (gandules) and this place hit the spot for her! She even loved the pork.
