Nice place. The bartender was awesome! Friendly patrons too.
We came in on a Sunday evening and it was completely empty, no host, and no greeting. I had to ask bar patrons if the kitchen was even open. A woman from the bar politely seated us, but service was very slow considering we were the only table. It took over 10 minutes just to get waters, and once we ordered, our server was nearly impossible to flag down again. When the food arrived, things got worse. I ordered the Mediterranean steak salad expecting feta, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach on a bed of greens. Instead, it came overloaded with random veggies like carrots, broccoli, and peppers—misleading from the menu—and only a tiny portion of overcooked steak. The second meal, a steak burger, was completely charred and tasted like burnt grill. The fries were undercooked, soggy, and greasy—like something from a concession stand. We mentioned to the waitress that the food wasn’t what we expected, and she showed no concern at all—just asked if we wanted anything else. No apology, no ownership. We both left most of our meals untouched. Then came the final insult: the bill. Over $60 for two entrees, an appetizer, and waters—with a surprise $6.50 upcharge for fries that weren’t even that great. The restaurant’s ambiance didn’t justify the prices either: dated decor, dim lighting, and an overall lack of care or character. Now we understand why we were the only diners there. Poor food, indifferent service, and inflated pricing left us feeling taken advantage of. We walked out frustrated and honestly stunned by how bad the entire experience was. I wish someone had warned us. I have no idea how this place still has high reviews—but I hope this one helps someone else avoid the same mistake.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere! A hidden gem!
I was thoroughly impressed with the liver/onions the chef hit out of the park
On Saturday February 1,2025 a group of 7 of us had a Baby Sprinkle for my daughter who is expecting her third child. I had never been to New Fern Park, what a hidden gem it is! We had the best food, dessert and service! We had our own little area for privacy, it’s such a lovely place. I highly recommend it and look forward to going back again.
Had a wonderful dinner with friends last night. Great food and wonderful service! And the desserts are well worth the indulgence. Even if your full from the wide variety of dinner choices, take something sweet home for later, you won't regret it! Great night all around, great food, great service, great environment, shared with great friends!
A great place for dinner as I wanted more of a lunch but the salad I got was delicious. I will definitely go back for dinner. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Loved the way they decorated.

Had the stuffed chicken breast they say it’s two stuffed breast it’s one breast cut in half and placed over top very simple stuffing, so not actually stuffed. Not much flavor. Appetizer and sides came out before getting our drinks. Food came directly after our drinks got there. Food did not have much flavor at all. Beef tips over pierogies was the other meal we had, the sauce was not good ate one bite and we were ready to go. We won’t be going back.
Extremely over priced..we ordered and the waitress came back to tell us items not available..
