I cannot recommend Al's Pizza in Nanty Glo, PA highly enough! The food was fantastic, and could only be outshone by the phenomenal service!My wife particularly enjoys the pagash (or perogie pizza) which is a dish you can only seem to find in Eastern Europe and Western Pennsylvania.However, the true shining star of their menu is the stromboli. Made fresh to order, with homemade dough and sauce, fresh mozzarella, and quality fillings this stromboli is truly a wonderful option....
I really like going here. Either for a couple slices or a whole pie it is absolutely 100% worth it. Being part Italian, I am always after pizza, and I find myself repeating to go back as I do enjoy it. The staff is friendly and always working as fast as they can. And it's very easy as far as parking getting in and out. Good location near middle of town, being near the post office and police station, make it a super safe place to roam to a spot outside to eat.
