About Wooden Spoon on 11th

Wooden Spoon on 11th is a cute little homestyle diner tucked in beside Jimmy K's in New Brighton. It is a happy place with a retro jukebox, cozy seating, and baked goods. The service is fantastic and the staff is so warm, friendly, and extremely friendly. Even when busy, guests get seated quickly. The food is super good, awesome, and everything is amazing. The cheese omelette is a favorite item, so fluffy and cheesy with plenty of fillings. The country fried steak comes out crispy and well seasoned. The sausage gravy is the best and the bacon is crispy and full of flavor. A new special, the bananas foster French toast, is great. Portions are just right and large. The coffee is locally sourced, though some find it a little too watered down. The place is always clean with charming decor. Prices are a pleasant surprise, as a large meal can be under $50. This is the best breakfast spot in Beaver County and a go-to place to bring family and friends.

The Best Pancakes Ever!!!

Service:
One of the things that stood out was that all of the pressure of service wasn't on any one person. While we had a main server, they all worked together to bring dishes, stop to see how things were going and to make sure drinks were topped off. They...read full review

My friend and I had breakfast there on Tuesday, July 22nd, and while my cinnamon french toast was great, his sausage gravy bowl was not very good. He said that the sausage gravy tasted like it came from a can. When the restaurant was called "Shoo Shoo's, the sausage gravy was excellent and that's why he ordered it, but he was quite dissapointed by what he received on that day. Perhaps the new owner needs to utilize the old recipes to keep his loyal customers happy. I know you...read full review
