El-Canelo Mexican Restaurant

Menus were disgusting they had food smashed inside of it the tables had gunck and stick spots on it when you get your glass of water the glass was filthy the smell of the restraunt was horrid smelled like old sweaty gym socks. And the staff was just so unprofessional. Not to mention the kitchen look a mess. Overall the place needs to be closed.

I love el canelo, however at this location the food isn't as good as the other location I go to. I wont go to this location again.

My family frequents this restaurant. As someone who grew up in Texas, I have had trouble finding a place that had decent Mexican food nearby. This place is it and not badly priced either. I recommend the birria tacos, taco salad, or quesadilla! If you have a picky eater, mine says the Dino nuggets are top-notch!

I ordered off-menu Carnita Street Tacos with rice and beans and the flavor was superb!

Incredibly delicious food extremely nice and talkative staff always laughter and happiness when eating here very clean as well. Just love this place.

The food was great as was the service. Food came out quick and it was hot and fresh ! Chips were also really good. Servers were very nice and the place was quite and cute. Would definitely go back again !

My Brother and I get take out quite frequently. We cant say enough how GREAT the food ,clealiness,and being treated like we really matter!! The Mgr/cook /owner is the BEST We will forever be there for our Mexican food because that is the best place any where!!!! Thank You El-Canelo

Super fajita quesodilla no longer comes with quest in it. It is now boring and bland tasting. You have to pay extra for quest. So disappointing. It was the only thing I really liked. Will be going to Los amigos from now on.

I was in New Castle, PA & craving Mexican when I came across this place. I definitely was a cozy little restaurant, I came just before the dinner rush. I was greeted pleasantly by the host how seated me quickly. My seating options were booth or table, I prefer a table. My server then came over to get my drink order, he returned quickly with it. The menu had a good selection of Mexican comfort foods. When my server returned, he brought out the awesome chips & salsa, then took my dinner order. I went with the jumbo burrito, it basically had everything in it.
My meal was out quickly, hot, fresh & extremely tasty. I really enjoyed my meal here, the atmosphere was very relaxed & my meal exceeded expectations. I strongly recommend you give this place a try.

OK I didn't have the greatest experience I ordered.
Nachos with queso sauce.There is absolutely no flavor I was so unimpressed with any of the food
