Best Chinese restaurant in New Castle PA. I know, every review says that about every Chinese joint. Take my word for it, Golden Wok more than holds its own here. Nothing off-menu here. I mean, you can say add an egg to the fried rice, or no water chestnuts in the veggies. But no squid or octopus. The basics. Beef chicken pork and shrimp. Vegan and vegetarian friendly too. A great menu. Really good appetizers. And they do have some nice appetizers. I like the shrimp toast, it’s hard to find that anywhere. And it is sooo good. Mostly to-go, but that’s not because it’s one of those plaza places with lousy decor. It’s actually nice to sit inside and get waited on, if you want your food really hot. Oh, and CASH ONLY! Bring $20 if it’s just you. Bring $40 if you’re taking the spouse.

I get takeout from here for lunch once a week and it's always great. Very consistent quality and portions, never disappointed. The Kung Pao chicken is awesome. Everything is fresh, cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Very nice staff and fairly priced menu. 90% of people rudely leaving a one star review are doing so because they don't accept credit cards? Get over it, cash is king and this place is EXCELLENT
