Best burgers in New Castle, and probably the cheapest. Hot dogs are good, too. Heard they have PO Lunch’s recipe for chili. Don’t know if it’s true, but still very good nonetheless.

When I came in it was around 1:10, I stood at the counter for a few minutes with people ahead of me and wasn’t acknowledged for about 3 minutes, I flagged down a server and she asked me if I was dining in I was and she told me to sit down at a table.
When she came over she was short and didn’t apologize for the wait. I ordered a burger, fries, and a soda. I watched as the staff in the back moved like snails, I never got my soda. People that were there before me got their food first.
The owner (who was far more polite, personable, and friendly than her server) brought my food and I had to ask her for the drink. The burger and fries were delicious and the burger, fries, and drink were only 12.46 which is incredible in today’s economy.
Will be back but I hope the owner straightens out both her servers and organizational issues.

I just stopped in to order a chili cheese dog and side salad for take out. Super friendly and fast service. And the food was awesome! Nice heat with the chili sauce and the side salad actually had more than just lettuce. Definitely won't be my only visit.

I was excited to try Lindy's but so disappointed when I tasted it. I don't like spicy foods, so I do avoid them, and I know that chili can be spicy depending on where you go. But their chili should have a warning on the menu because it was much more spicy than I anticipated. Even my adult son, who quite enjoys spicy food, said they were too 'hot'. I could not even finish them. The dogs were good. Milkshake was good. The prices were outrageous. The best part was the mozzarella sticks. The staff was wonderful when I was ordering. The food just wasn't worth the $60. SIXTY dollars for hot dogs, fries, and milkshakes. . I won't do it again. But thank you, Lindy's, for being so kind 🙂
