I used Sir D’s to cater my October 5th wedding and I would not recommend them to anyone else. I signed a contract that said there would be two certified bartenders, which was broken down to an hourly bartender fee for 8 hours x 2 bartenders. There was only one bartender at the wedding so I asked afterwards if I would receive a refund for the second one I paid for. I was told that they covered the bar with other staff members such as an extra bar-back yet there was never anyone else assisting the bartender behind the bar. Plus, these were not certified bartenders. The guests ended up having to wait longer and were unable to get drinks when the bartender left the bar. When I asked again for a refund because of this, my email was never answered. The caterers were late on wedding day and had to be called by the venue staff to see where they were. I am one of the four vegetarians that were at the wedding. I told Brittney, our coordinator at Sir D’s, a month before the wedding that I did not like mushrooms and I was looking for a meal that did not contain mushrooms. I asked a couple times over the month leading up to the wedding what the vegetarian dish would be and Brittney kept telling me she would let me know. The day before the wedding I texted her to ask what it would be and she told me that she did not like the answer she just got from the chef and she would get back to me. She got back to me a little while later and told me that the meal would be a meatless chicken. When I received my meal on my wedding day it was littered with pieces of mushrooms. I was very disappointed that the only item I said I did not want was a large part of the main dish. I was also told by guests that the food was cold and running empty for the last few tables. Brittney had promised me they would not run out of food as it would make them look bad yet I was told that this did in fact happen. The lack of transparency and communication made me very uncomfortable in addition to not receiving the services I paid for. I wish I had chosen a different caterer for our wedding.

Alexia was organized and helpful in our initial meeting and communication regarding a proposal. Calla was very friendly and moved the planning process along nicely. The food tasted good and presented well at the wedding.Unfortunately, several major disappointments left a bad taste in our mouths and we regret having them cater our wedding.Calla disappeared two days before our wedding and we were surprised with Brittney on the day of the wedding without any communication from Sir D's. Hors d'oeuvres were served to us one time without our full selection present while we were taking photographs during cocktail hour. Our dinners were not packed up as leftovers for our pleasure as agreed upon.Worst of all, was the final invoice disagreement following the wedding. We were charged our initial quoted price and not the amended proposal price. We were charged for 6 vendor meals instead of 4. We were charged for an additional hour of time which was not agreed upon. We were charged for centerpiece and cake/cupcake setup, which was painstakingly done by family and relatives, not the caterer. I respectfully pointed out the discrepancies line by line in an e-mail. The e-mail was acknowledged, and a check was sent to us.The total difference in amount paid and corrected final invoice was over $1,000. The check we received was for just over $500. I e-mailed. I called. Eventually, I received my only response from the owner, Don Noss, that he personally reviewed the necessary information and could explain the additional charges at my convenience. I called the number provided and left multiple voicemails. We followed up with an out-of-the-way in-person visit only to be refused any time to discuss the disputed amounts. Our only remedy that remained was civil court... which we declined to pursue and incurred the loss of over $500.Save yourself the hassle and find another caterer.
Our wedding was on 9/17/21 and...All I've heard since our wedding was how great the food was! They did a beautiful job setting up. The servers were great, the bar tender was fun, and Katelyn and Brittany were great to work with. I'll recommend them to anyone.

Kaitlyn, the employee (doing the catering all by herself), went above and beyond to make sure our employees were taken care of. Kaitlin was timely, attentive and made the set up look fun yet professional. The food was fresh, came out warm and tasted great. They were supposed to cater my best friends wedding later in this month and Brittany decided she just would stop communicating with them. No reason, the bride, groom and myself all called NUMEROUS times with no answer. The last communication was them changing an item on the hors d'oeuvres, and that was it....nothing since. How can you just stop community with a bride and groom 4-5 weeks before the wedding?! I would NEVER recommend their services. Terrible business practice. And BTW....since there was no notice that they couldn't or wouldn't cater the event, it has caused UNDO stress on a bride who already has enough to deal with by planning a wedding to now have no one catering the reception. Absolutely awful!!! Brittany, whoever you are...you're the worst. I hope karma comes back to you tenfold.
