It's a walk up window service ice cream shop. I know the owner, he is a top quality guy. The ice cream is excellent and as a result so are the milkshakes. My wife likes the giant snowballs, they have a literal wall of flavors to choose from. Old school candy, colorful store front, and they take credit cards/tap/apple pay.

Really good ice cream, although it is very sweet! An amazing variety of flavors. I just wish they had a sugar free option.

Really lucky to have this place in New Freedom. Great ice cream and good service. A little short on parking space.

Ah, Bonkeys Ice Cream, my sweet diet saboteur! My waistline's dreams were all set, visions of slimness dancing like sugar-free fairies, until Bonkeys waltzed in, flaunting flavors with the drama and unpredictability of menopause. But who cares about a few extra pounds when you've got the best escape route for a treat with your bestie? It's a creamy haven where friendships ripen over double scoops, laughter, and that irresistible cone of mint chip - the trifecta' of 'scoop-tacular!'So, grab your partner in dessert crime and plunge into the icy delights of this paradise. Just a friendly warning: your bathroom scale may sulk, but your taste buds will be dancing the cha-cha!

You better love ice cream. I asked the pretty teenager who took my order if I should get double chocolate or black raspberry. "Get both." I said I'd just eaten, and didn't want all that much ice cream. "It's not that much," she assured me. I had but a five on me, and was trying to keep it a cash order for this small business. But their standard cone is one of those wafer-type cones that have never done much for me. There's no sugar cone option. The waffle cone is $1.50 more. So I went with that. Its not being very much more for an additional scoop, I went with black raspberry and double chocolate. It was sooo much ice cream! So much, it broke the cone trying to get out. But it was yummy ice cream, so it all worked out. I just had my work cut out for me. Thankfully, someone mentioned turning the things upside down in a cup, so I asked for a cup and a spoon. I had several neat conversations with a few different groups of interesting people as I wrestled with my summer night's treat. I left looking like I murdered Count Chocula. I was happy my hand didn't stick to the steering wheel. I'm happy I made the trip to try their ice cream.

I'm visiting from Florida, and let me tell you this is some good ice cream. I'm impressed with how good the rainbow sherbet tasted, I almost went back to get more! I'm very happy that me and my family stopped by this place, and I definitely recommend this place!

Bonkey’s always has good ice cream or shaved ice. My personal favorite is a cookies and cream milkshake but all is good! Always fast service.
