Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

It has the nicest cards with beautiful sayings, very nice supply of clothes. I just love the store.

Great food and Great Service. I really enjoyed the Country Fried Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Country Green Beans. My next visit I will enjoy the Cornmeal Fried Catfish.

Many of the items were overcooked to include the hash browns, Sirloin steak, eggs and Sourdough toast only grilled on one side without butter. Very disappointed in our visit as this is normally not the case.

We went to 2 Cracker Barrel’s yesterday so this review is the one near York PA, not Shrewsbury. We were coming from the RV show in Hershey and due to the time, we went to the one near York. It was a little before 8. They closed at 9. We had the most unproductive server ever. Or maybe it was also the kitchen. They were out of so much! She told us it was because we were late. The food that we eventually received was not Cracker Barrel’s finest. The only thing good were the apples! We never received the cornbread or biscuits and she came out telling everyone that there was no mashed potatoes. No apologies, nothing! We regretted not being able to make the Shrewsbury location because that one is always great.

I was very disappointed last night I picked up a to go order my steak was over cooked and a lot of gristle the potatoes had brown gravy but I ordered white gravy and they forgot to add my barrel bites to the order I hadn’t been to Cracker Barrel in a while and I was definitely looking forward to a good meal I was very dissatisfied

The last couple of evening visits I've had a young male server who clearly isn't cut out for service, From his tattooed goth appearance, to forgetting rolls and utensils, to failing to offer water or refilling beverages, to simply disappearing for long periods of time when he should be monitoring his tables. He needs some serious server training and workplace mentorship.

This is always a favorite Cracker Barrel. The staff is always inviting and polite. The food comes out fast, hot and just like we want it and the waitresses are always attentive to our needs. And of course they always have cool and neat stuff to look at and purchase. Very unique atmosphere. And they have a fireplace that they light up during the winter months. Not a fake one either. The manger actually comes out and places logs on the fire.

It was very pleasant, On a cold day there was a roaring fire in the fireplace. We were seated right away and the waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Breakfast was good.

Cracker Barrel is pretty consistent as a reliable roadside pitstop with good eats. What moved it to the next level on this visit was seeing Impossible sausage on the menu. Vegetarians don't have many protein rich options on a typical menu here, so this is huge imo. Subbed it into the old timer's breakfast with biscuits and it was great as always.

Outstanding, friendly service. Great Holiday heat and serve meals, which takes the stress out of spending hours in the kitchen and more time with family.

Dietary restrictions: My wife has specific dietary restrictions, and it is never an issue with the servers or kitchen staff.

Was a great day they had tables outside so that's where we decided to eat , was a great experience along with great service and delicious food.

Food was cold. Waiter was inattentive. Very depressing because the food and service is usually good here
