This place is a fun and great hidden gem. The beer was excellent, especially the Irish stout with coffee, and the pizza was delicious. We rode the Santa train 4 years ago, and nothing like this existed in town. Now, on a bike ride, the brewery was exactly what we were looking for. Great work.

Drinks are yummy. Food and service, eh. We were here for almost an hour before our appetizer came (3 pretzel sticks). Then our food comes and mine is cold. So obviously it has been sitting. I wouldn't come again for anything but some drinks. Not worth the waiting. If there was something going on, a heads up would make a difference.

Such a bummer that there’s no gluten or cauliflower crust option. Only thing on the menu gluten free is the caprese salad:( We’d love to be able to try those pizzas. We had several gluten free (for medical reasons) family members which means we can’t eat at vortex

Whoever had the idea to put smoked pit beef on a pizza is genius! Sooo good! We decided to surprise our daughter who works there and we were surprised as well! Great food, great staff, great atmosphere! Oh yeah, gotta mention the beer too! Good stuff guys! It was worth the hour and a half drive!

Vortex Brewing Co. in New Freedom, PA, is a fantastic spot! They offer a variety of delicious beers and tasty food. The atmosphere is lively, with live music adding to the fun. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and parking is convenient. Whether you’re with family or friends, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy.

My wife and i met some friends here for lunch and some live music on a Sunday afternoon. Food was very good, as were the beers, atmosphere and service. Will definitely go back again.

Very good. I totally recommend coming here. My ex wife Edith introduced me to it, but Samantha and I come here regularly. They always treat their elders like myself with respect and whoever is running this account does a fantastic job making sure I have an event to go to every weekend. LOL ❤️

Great beer and atmosphere

Went to Vortex and sat at the bar for 15 minutes. Despite 5 people working at the bar and taking orders from people next to me and those walking up to the bar, completely ignored me, even when I got up and tried to track down a waitress twice. Completely unprofessional.
