This the real deal. I've eaten in small pizza parlors in Italy off the tourist routes. Sal's is authentic. My first visit I had the Mediterranean pizza - probably the best pizza I've ever eaten, and I'm picky. The second visit I had the small Stromboli. It was in two pieces and was huge - enough for 2. It, too, was delicious. Can't recommend Sal's in New Holland enough!
I am so surprised this pizza place isn’t rated higher, and quite a bit higher at that! Their pizza is the best in the area in my family’s opinion. It’s very authentic as opposed to many other pizza shops generic type taste.
We live in East Lampeter and drove to Sal’s in New Holland which most of you know is a bit of a hike. That’s how much we love the pizza.

Quite a few were adamant on me trying Sals in New Holland.
It’s not my overall favorite but it was very good.
Owner was really nice, we chatted while I waited for the slice.
