I had high hopes for Buttonwood Grill, but the experience was overshadowed by the excessive wait time. We waited 145 minutes to be seated, which felt unreasonable. While the food was decent, it definitely was not worth that long of a wait. The wait staff was friendly, but service was on the slower side, and it seemed like they could have benefited from having more staff on hand. Better communication and staffing would have made a big difference in the overall experience.
We typical go to buttonwood when in the Lahaska area. Our visit today was not up to par. Our grilled turkey sandwiches came out cold along with our fries. It seems it was sitting for some time before we were served. Also our waitress just disappeared. Had to ask 3 separate people to have her come over to get our check. Took forever and she never returned but someone dropped off the check after about 15 minutes of asking. Not a great visit and very disappointed since I took...

Service was great too.
However, it was a cold day and heat was not working in the lower dining room. We settled for the upper dining area and every time the door opened, we got the gust of cold air. 🥶 I recommend fixing the heat and installing a vestibule. We'll be back in the spring.
