Chaddsford's Bottle Shop & Tasting Room at Penn's Purchase

Stopped by on a whim and got a bottle. The wine was good and service was excellent but I feel like the ambience could use something, it was kind of bland, although this may be exactly how it is meant to be.

Disappointing winery visit…. We had a flight which included only 3 wines at a very high price. When asked for food accompaniment, they had none to offer! I believe when serving alcohol , food and water should be available even to purchase. Management didn’t seem to care about feed back and had no interest. Too pricey for a wine tasting experience compared to most wineries. Mediocre wine… Will not return!!

It's disheartening to see how Chaddsford Winery has changed, not just in its physical location but in its overall atmosphere and quality. Unfortunately, the wine quality has noticeably declined, and the treatment of long-standing, dedicated employees has been nothing short of disappointing.It's evident that poor business decisions have been made at the sake and livelihood of its longtime hardworking employees, who were the backbone of this establishment. It's a shame that others won't get to experience the vibrant atmosphere and excellent service that once defined this place.It's clear that leadership decisions, mainly under Corey (the head manager, who is seen maybe ONCE in a blue moon at this location, if you’re lucky) which lack the understanding of what truly drives a successful business, have led to the downfall of this location. It's regrettable that the livelihoods of loyal employees have been put at risk due to misguided decisions made by a man out of spite.Now, it's time to be honest about the wine—it's simply not up to par. There are plenty of superior wineries in the area and throughout Pennsylvania that offer better quality products and a more organized experience.The way a company treats its employees speaks volumes about its overall business practices, and unfortunately, the disorganization and lack of respect shown to employees reflect poorly on Chaddsford Winery as a whole.(Note: No ill will is directed towards the current employee, who is doing their best in a challenging situation.)

Great service, great wine. A charcuterie board snack option would have made us stay much longer!

Stopped here after a bad experience at the other winery Nissley. So glad we stopped at Chaddsford! Totally redeemed our wine tasting experience. The wines were good, the staff was very helpful and extremely nice and accommodating. They even let me do a small additional taste of a wine I hadn’t selected in my flight choice. And glad they did, ended up being my favorite. If you are in peddlers village stop at Chaddsford, it is well worth it. Great experience! Thank you for saving the day on our mother/daughter outing. Ended up with some great bottles to bring home as well.

10/10 wine tasting experience! We had a fantastic visit with great food and wine. Great variety and prices, wonderful customer service. It was a beautiful day to enjoy sitting outside!!!

Love this place! My husband and I often visit the Taste room and are always greeted with smiles and hugs. Their wines are delicious and staff is very friendly. Especially, we like the spacious and modern design facility that they have recently moved in. It’s a great place- One must visit and try their wines.
