Hewn Spirits Distillery

Drinks weren't bad, and the bar tender was personable. It's weird to get a more premium drink in plastic, as many say. Don't understand why they can't ask if you are taking to drink to go or having it there and use a real glass accordingly.

For a distillery that is trying to show off their spirits, it would be nice to actually have cocktails made correctly. Been her several times and they are consistent with making mediocre drinks at a premium price. Would be nice if they offered drinks in real glassware if you aren't going back out. Service has always been kind and friendly.

I was in today 2/22/2025 the lady with the black hair was a douche. Felt like I was in inconvenience to her while asking questions about the product and felt like I was being talked to like a child. I would not return because of her. She lacks basic costumer service skills.

We came to try the whiskey, but they wouldn't serve flights (even though it was on their menu). It was probably because it was a busy weekend.We had the mule and the BMT instead, which were pretty good.It seemed like they have Wi-Fi but they wouldn't let me use it, telling me to use the Peddlers Village Wi-Fi (which wasn't getting a good signal).

Enjoyable shop to try a select few beverage options. The vodka was light and refreshing. A few leather couches to sit and relax from the heat. Overall, I’d recommend everyone try supporting this local business.

Nice place and staff was friendly but their whiskey is pretty bad. Aging only 9-12 months isn’t going to result in anything tasty.

Whiskey and vodka is enough. A staple stop for the family as we shop through the village. Try the mule. You will love it.

This place knows how to ruin an engagement party. Awesome location, horrible staff. Bartender there doesn't even deserve a job.

Fantastic spot with ridiculously friendly people. We were lucky enough to come by in the winter and enjoy their hot apple cider with a splash of “a little something special“. Fantastic stop on a cold winter day! Thank you!

First time visit...won't be the last. Loved the bloody mary : ) Also purchased Dark Hollow for my husband...and walked out without it. I called when I got home (2.5hour drive)...and Matt shipped it to me no problem. Thank you. Great customer service and great prices.

I was so exited to step into their gorgeous building and to try their product. Yet my first visit will also be my last. I left without imbibing a drop of their product, as the bartender could not have been more rude. She was atrocious. Not only lacked personality, but her attitude was off putting, unhelpful and flat out rude. She greeted my smile and “how are you?”, with a scowl. She answered my curious questions with an indignant and precious attitude. We were the only ones in there on a Saturday during the town’s Oktoberfest celebration, in which the other shops were jamming with people. One has to wonder if Miss Rude had something to do with that. Do not go. It’s not worth the experience.
