I was a fellow vendor with this team at a wedding and they were all incredibly kind and helpful all while wearing a great smile. Would absolutely hire !
We couldn’t be more thrilled with the incredible service and delicious food provided by Jamie Hollander on our wedding day! Everything — from cocktail hour to dessert — was absolutely perfect. Our guests are still raving about how amazing everything tasted and how attentive and friendly the staff was throughout the evening.
A special thank you to Rachel, the venue coordinator, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail ran smoothly. Her calm, confident presence helped make the entire day feel seamless — she was a true rock and an essential part of what made the day so successful.
We also want to recognize Ms. Dorita (or Ms. D as we call her), our bridal attendant, who was simply exceptional. She not only took wonderful care of me throughout the day but also extended her kindness and attentiveness to our entire family. Her warmth, attention to detail, and calm demeanor made a huge difference in helping everyone feel supported and comfortable.
We are so grateful to the entire team at Jamie Hollander for helping make our wedding so memorable. Highly recommend!

We recently held our wedding at the Pearl S. Buck Estate, one of JH's exclusive properties. Between the catering and the event planning, they truly made the day PERFECT! A massive shoutout to our coordinator, Rachel, who is a true wedding planning pro! Delicious food, gorgeous grounds, and the most professional, personable staff we could've hoped for! We worked with Jamie Hollander for our wedding at Glen Foerd in Philly and cannot say enough good things! The venue was absolutely stunning and everything we were looking for - natural beauty next to a body of water, indoor and outdoor capabilities and of course the stunning mansion and fun reception tent. The food was DELICIOUS, especially the hors d'oeuvres. Mouthwatering, we could have eaten them all night. From the initial meeting all the way to the end of our wedding, the staff at JH was incredible. Kelly was ready and available to answer any and all questions throughout the planning process. Emma was our day of coordinator and she was the BEST - so fun and made sure everything went perfectly. Alfonso was our maitre de' and he made sure that cocktail hour and reception all went according to plan. Emma and Alfonso hand delivered personal trays of passed apps and even made dinner plates for us to make sure we ate! This was huge because we definitely got swept up in the moment and idk if we would have eaten otherwise! Cannot say enough good things - thank you for making our day perfect!
Stopped working here this year.
-The water served at the Bartrams Garden & Glen Foerd venues is from a hose and the hoses' ends often fall into the mud. There's no indication that it's potable.
-There is a risk of trays with 35+ pounds of stacked plates being carried over your wedding guests heads.
-Many of the wait staff protocols and etiquette aren't followed.
On the employee side of things:
-Selected waiters are offered tough, demanding, extended shift roles, 10-13 hours, doing the heaviest tasks of setting up a venue for a wedding. There are clearly defined departure requirements (for catering van driver) and clock out times (for the other early arrivers). Then the employees are practically trained not to even ask if they can be dismissed on time, making these 12-15 hour shifts, of too much heavy labor for one day.
Jamie Hollander catered my wedding at WoodsEdge Farm in October of this year. The whole process was so lovely and every employee I interacted with was so kind. The food was amazing! Our cocktail hour and reception food was so incredible both in presentation and taste. There are certain dishes I still think about and miss months later. Kate was so wonderful to work with and she did a fabulous job guiding us through the entire process from discussing menu items, our initial tasting, to finalizing details and picking napkin colors at our final walkthrough. Rachel was a superstar on our big day. She was so sweet and communicated well with us. We did not want for anything. The staff that served us and worked the bar were also so great. They were so attentive and extremely pleasant. We appreciate Jamie Hollander so much for making our wedding day unforgettable.
Overpriced and mediocre food at best. The Owner/Proprietor is very full of himself and in turn is very pretentious. I guess he thinks just because he is from New Hope that he is Better than everyone else and it shows in his unpleasant attitude.
I recently attended a wedding at Glen Fored Mansion. The venue along the Delaware river is a perfect setting for any event. From cocktails to dessert, everything was incredible. A special shout out to the amazing staff. They are the most professional, kind, compassionate and thoughtful staff I’ve ever experienced at a wedding. Moody, Alfonso, Ms D & Dan you guys are amazing!
Jamie Hollander Catering & Events was incredible! We couldn't have asked for any better of an experience. The staff was wonderful, especially Kate Conway! The food was delicious. Kate and Leslie worked with us to make this the best wedding ever!
My wife and I had our wedding at Bartram's Garden catered by Jamie Hollander, and everything was perfect. Our planner, Kelly, helped us navigate the overwhelming process of planning our reception and ceremony, and steered us through tough choices with her years of experience. She was always easy to get ahold of, and worked hard to make sure our needs were met. Our day-of coordinator, Niyah, helped us pull off the ceremony and reception without any hiccups, and eliminated the stress of the big day. Our guests raved about the food and service at our wedding, and we can't recommend JH enough.

Jamie Hollander catered my wedding at the Inn at fox briar farm and it was fabulous. Starting with an amazing tasting, we met Rachel who was our coordinator through the whole process. They took careful notes during our tasting process and delivered the buffet really well! Rachel was an absolute pleasure to work with and I feel so lucky we got to work with her!! She was incredibly responsive and paid close attention to detail. She was also seasoned and led us through the day-of with an ease and calmness that helped us enjoy our day. I had explored several other caterers and this was the best value quote by far. I initially was somewhat hesitant to sign on because of other comments relating to responsiveness, but I’m glad I ended up taking the chance because I had absolutely no issue with responsiveness. 10/10 would recommend.
Stopped working here this year. Important info:
There is no indication that the hose water served at the Bartrams Garden & Glen Foerd venues is potable, and the hoses' ends often fall into the mud... I would trek to the mansion kitchen at Glen for water, but no alternative is to be found at Bartrams except bottles; There is a risk of trays with 35+ pounds of stacked plates being carried over your wedding guests heads; sometimes wait staff runs around with heavy objects; waiter etiquette which is printed out in the kitchen seems not at all followed by most wait staff; waiters being safe and using waiter etiquette get mocked by wait staff and wait staff leaders.
Once a young woman, a waitress, was injured. A table fell on her. And she and her mother did not ask for help (or demand help) paying for medical treatments.
Capable waiters are sold on a higher paying role involving arriving early for set up (heavy lifting), or for bringing the van loaded with food (and then early set up). We are told we are exempt from having to stay after the wedding to prep for the next one (heavy lifting), or, if we have the van, we can leave after it's been used to dispose trash and has been reloaded with the empty food containers and leftovers/unused food. You're supposed to be able to volunteer to stay, but it has become backwards and now the employee has to ask to leave, and it was the norm at times that employees were either told they can't leave, or shamed for their choice, and some seemed not even to know about the choice. And sometimes coworkers would ask if you are leaving and then mock you. Sometimes the chef would join in on this. Even the top manager of Jamie Hollander belittled me, precisely for asking whether I had permission to leave after the van was fully loaded. Then she made me stay while the bartenders sought a missing bottle of lime juice. If employees stay, they clock 12 or more hours, and maybe not enough sleep if they have the same type of shift the next day.
We recently had a June wedding at Pearl S Buck Estate, and I couldn't have asked for more! A special shoutout to Rachel Bova, who was my coordinator, for making the wedding planning process so easy for me. Not only with planning, but on the actual day she was amazing and went out of her way to make sure I was ok when my nerves were rising. The catering waitstaff themselves were also amazing and provided exceptional service! I had so many comments from guests on their above and beyond service and friendliness. And of course last but not least, the food was delicious!
His mother is a total nightmare!
A very jealous type!
We cannot more highly recommend Kelly Mahoney, Kate Conaway, and Jamie Hollander Catering more highly. They provided full service, from event planning through to the final catering for both our modified pandemic ceremony and twice-postponed wedding, both at Bartram’s Garden in October 2020 and October 2022, respectively. Our wedding was originally scheduled for October 2020, but COVID forced us to convert the original date to a tiny ceremony, while our wedding proper was postponed twice. Kate Conaway allowed us to host the pandemic ceremony at Bartram’s at no extra charge, setting up the space and ensuring our event was lovely and safe, despite the painful impact of the pandemic. She was kind, flexible, helpful, and accommodating. She, and then Kelly Mahoney, who took over as wedding event coordinator in 2021, made what were an extraordinarily frustrating and painful few years of waiting more bearable and productive. We finally had our big wedding in October 2022. Kelly was incredible. She was responsive, thoughtful, thorough, informative, and so easy to work with. She guided us through the lead-up to the day and the event itself perfectly. Kelly and the whole Jamie Hollander team helped us create the perfect wedding environment, and brought to fruition the wedding we had long envisioned. The catering and bartending staff were outstanding–so warm, friendly, and welcoming. Many of our guests commented on how wonderful the staff were. The venue was breathtaking, the reception tent looked spectacular, and the most complicated portions of our day went off seamlessly. The food was truly exceptional–by far the best wedding food either of us have ever had. Knowing how difficult it can be for the couple to eat or drink throughout the day, Kelly ensured that we always had water, drinks, and food at hand.We unreservedly recommend Jamie Hollander Catering, and more specifically Kelly Mahoney, Kate Conaway, and the team that catered our wedding in 2022. They ensure your wedding or special event is exactly what you hope it will be.
