On a bike cruise with the homies. Ate outside and had a slammin little cheesesteak platter. Beers and good convo kind of spot. Early Sat afternoon so no live show. Will return.

When you walk into John & Peter’s, you see it advertised as “The best burger in New Hope” and after eating here that made me laugh. It has to be a joke for what we ate. My medium burger was well done, nothing special, but $4 extra for each common topping LOL. My wife got the turkey burger but it was so loaded with rosemary branches that it was inedible, and i can eat anything it was that bad. I do have to say, the tater tots were honestly 10/10 and could have just been my dinner, but for $24 for each of these mid dry burgers just because i wanted cheddar and bacon as extras? You can kiss my butt. I can get and had better burgers at a diner. Keep in mind upscale places like Bluebell Inn only charge $19 and have crazy better toppings included. We left disappointed in our choice that we didnt go to the better Dubliner down the block

Walking into my home town favorite bar after about 10 years and seeing Pumpkin behind the bar and nothing had changed, made me feel at home. This place is a pillar of the community and one of the last standing places that reflects New Hope before New York moved in. My heart is full. I won't wait so long before I come back home to visit.
