Has outdoor seating, yet didn’t let us sit outside with our small 15lb dog with empty tables

The restaurant is a cool little place. The food was great. Little confusing on where to go in but we figured it out. Our server, however, was horribly rude. It was like we were bothering him by being there. I felt unwelcome. One word answers. It really brought down the experience from a restaurant that otherwise had great food.

One of my favorite places in Newhope. Karla’s is unpretentious, with good food. The staff makes you feel at home. Will definitely visit again.

Have been eating/drinking at this bar for many years and always loved it, but had an extremely weird interaction with the very rude bartender on Monday night that makes me never want to return. No greeting, slammed down a menu, rudely told to us to move because he was trying to serve a table, which wasn't clear, but would have been understandable if he simply said, excuse me. The vibe was very unwelcoming and surprising based on many experiences over the years here with amazing bartenders at a place I have always known as a local gem for good drinks. Opted to leave and had a delicious drink at Martine's from a bartender that greeted us and served a damn good cocktail. Bizarre.

Whimsical little spot right on the main drag in New Hope. The food is relatively simple but well executed. There is excellent people watching if you get outdoor seating. Pricing is more reasonable than in other restaurants in the area. Staff were friendly.

I don't love posting a negative review, but the greeter was so brusque and unsmiling that it ruined my experience.

I get it. Summer is tough. Tourists can get on your last nerve. But a host has just one job - to make guests feel welcome.

I addition, it is difficult to figure out how to enter the restaurant because there is no clear doorway. I witnessed many people flummoxed as to how to enter.

This restaurant is located on a beautiful corner of Main St. And the meal was good. But no matter, I cannot recommend this establishment.

The food is so delicious. Not your ordinary Eggs Benedict. Try it and you’ll see. Jenn was our server and it was crazy busy but she made sure she put a smile on our faces and got everything we needed!!

The first dining experience we had on our recent trip to New Hope, PA was Karla’s. We arrived for a late dinner and were greeted by friendly staff and an eclectic, quaint and homey feeling dining space. This unique restaurant is filled with artistic and delightfully charming decor and boasts multiple dining rooms flanked by a hopping little bar.

To start we ordered a Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita, Cucumber Gimlet and the Baked Brie appetizer. The margarita was a beautiful blend of sweet and heat and the gimlet was a wonderfully refreshing departure from the summer sizzle. The Baked Brie was generously drizzled with a buttery honey and accompanied by soft, crusty bread and a spiced olive oil.

We selected the Glazed Sesame Soy Salmon and the Grilled Skirt Steak for our entrees. The sweet and tangy salmon adorned a medley of fresh vegetables, and perfectly cooked soba noodles. The dish was reminiscent of a really yummy teriyaki-style salmon.

The Skirt Steak was drenched in rich brown gravy and served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak was well-cooked but could have benefited from a tad more seasoning and perhaps a bit of heat.

Overall, Karla’s was very enjoyable and I definitely recommend stopping by this sweet little spot for a bite, cocktails and an overall good time!
