I was here last weekend and ordered one of their specials which was Arroz Chaufa with Steak. I paid $23 for this meal so I was expecting it to be top notch. It was not good at all, I have had good Peruvian food in New Jersey and New York so I know what good chaufa is. This was not, it lacked flavor and sauce, it looked like white rice mixed with steak and eggs. I hope they improve!

Delicious!! Loved our Arepa and empanada. The fried yucca was so good! Make sure to ask for some of the green hot sauce to go with whatever you order!

Very good chicken empanada. Beef was dry (it was the end of the night). I would definitely go back for the chicken though. Prices on the menu are not up to date. Woman at the counter was very sweet and kind. Very welcoming.

I had high hopes for this place. We ordered two items. One was the Taco Salad for $13.50 on the special's board. The board stated chicken or beef, with shrimp an extra price as noted. Receipt stated $16.50. I went back when I read my receipt and asked why and was told chicken and beef were also extra. We also ordered the Aji de Gallina which was $13.50 on the menu board and brochure by the counter, but were billed $14.25. I gave up, This place is a greedy rip off in my opinion.
I've eaten here maybe 3 times before and loved the food. I usually try different things because they offer a lot. This time I got ceviche because it's traditional Peruvian. I didn't know it was served cold and it was sour. I don't like sour food, really don't like sour food. I took it back and told them I don't like it and would like to get something else. She offered me 2 empanadas which I considered snacks and were half the price of the dish I originally paid for. I declined and left. I will not be back. Why couldn't I get something of equal value that I actually wanted? Bad customer service.

As a Peruvian family in America, we think peruvian foods here in the states tend to vary in quality and authenticity much like any other foreign food. I can say the food here was AMAZING and met all my expectations and then some! The only food I believe was a little too thick for our liking were the tamales served, but everything else was prime! Seen here was the chicha morada (which I had mixed with an Estate Blush found in the bar nearby - great bartender and drinks there as well), lomo saltado, and tamales (though don't miss trying the camarones!)

Ordered food from here through GrubHub. GrubHub driver didn't show up to pickup the food, and GrubHub never told me that was the case, they instead blamed the restaurant, canceling the order after it had been waiting for over an hour. I called the restaurant and a staff member kindly delivered the food to my home. Food was very good but that kind of service is rarely seen anymore. Thank you, Lima Fusion.
