Tried this restaurant for valentines day atmosphere seemed very chaotic even for valentines day. Upstairs was gorgeous loved how they transformed this church into a dining room. However there definitely is a disconnect between the 'front' and 'back' of the house. Dan our waiter was friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable who, unfortunately, had no support from the kitchen and seemed like he was catching complaints all night because of it. Lollipop lamp chops were good but not memorable. Filet mignon was not cooked to request. Asked for medium rare and got well done. My date ordered duck which the breast was over cooked, and somehow cold. The truffle fries were good but seemed more like bar fries than what you'd expect at a fine dining restaurant. Finally the drinks. I ordered a gin gimlet which was poorly mixed. My date and I both thought it might have been the gin we requested. Tried a vodka gimlet and had the same issue. However, I came home and made one with the same gin and immediately realized the bartender either did not shake it, or didnt use crushed ice, or both. This restaurant was not what I expected from a New Hope fine dining restaurant. They have a lot to fix to be on par with Stella and Odette's especially for the price!

The staff at Ole Stone are always so friendly and nice! We love it, Ole Stone had become our go-to place over the last few years. Our favorite bar tender Mike and Mary are always there to take great care off us!
Great food and service with personality!

I came for my son's birthday and reserved the private dining room. The service from the server was good and the food was amazing. However the problem came with the manager who didn't even come in to ask us how everyone was. Usually I wouldn't mind this but sense we spent well over $1000 on food I would expect the manager to at least acknowledge us.

We visited Olde Stone Steakhouse for the first time on New Year’s Eve with very high expectations, given how often it’s recommended.
The upstairs dining room is absolutely beautiful—being in a former church makes the atmosphere one of the best parts of the experience. Service was great throughout the night, and both the Caesar salad and wedge salad were standouts, with the Caesar being one of the best things we had.
Unfortunately, the porterhouse for two didn’t live up to the hype, especially for the price. While it was cooked well, it lacked flavor and relied heavily on sauces. Midway through dinner, we could feel vibrations from a DJ downstairs, which was distracting for what’s meant to be a high-end dining experience. Dessert was solid but not memorable.
Overall, the vibe and service were excellent, but the food didn’t justify the cost

The three stars rating is mostly for the atmosphere which was very nice. It had a nice bar area when you walk in, the dining room upstairs is beautiful as it is in an old church, wide open and very nice, even the bathrooms were beautiful. The food on the other hand was very average, which was extremely disappointing for the price point. It started with calamari, which seemed to have more banana peppers disguised as calamari than the actual calamari. And the breading fell off upon touch leaving the disgusting naked tentacles. I ordered the chef's pick, a $72 NY strip that did not come with any sides. I ordered it medium and it came very well done on a plate so hot that it was still cooking even more. I've had better steaks at Outback for $24 with two sides. Typically if I'm going to a nice steakhouse it's a Gordon Ramsay, or B-Prime caliber steakhouse in Atlantic City, this was nowhere close to that type of quality, very disappointing. My date had the crab cakes and also wasn't impressed. Top the overpriced, underwhelming meal with the fact there was no parking anywhere and I had to pay $32 to park in a lot that was a 10 minute walk away, I would not return for dinner.

The restaurant was freezing cold, and instead of someone telling us that and suggesting a bar seat, etc. they didn't say a word until after we were seated and mentioned it. Apparently the heat was down and nobody stepped to let the guests know. We were told that it was rapidly heating up, but it never got better; my watch had a high of 62 degrees during the meal and that was when my steak arrived. On top of that, the $85 ribeye was middling, at best. Undersalted, underseasoned, and served on a baking dish covered in splatter. I ordered medium rare, but by the time I cut into it, the blazing hot baking dish had cooked the first 1/4" to a grey well done. A $28 crab cocktail should likewise stand on its own, not be covered in watery pink tomatoes. Additionally, crab cocktail loses its appeal when you're shivering. No manager anywhere in sight. Totally unacceptable at a diner, let alone a $300 dinner for two. The waitstaff tried, but with zero leadership it was a total disaster. I would never set foot in there again.
Neither the experience or the food justify the high prices. The novelty of it being in a church is interesting, it's a beautiful building that is well renovated, and the food is good but not amazing, certainly not worth the prices. The bar area is very cool so we will return but definitely not for a full meal. It's a drinks and app kind of place. Some of the things that made this only 3 stars for us - Soup came out without a spoon (was cool by the time we could flag someone down to get one), we asked for drinks that never arrived, the sauces with the steak were cool and not very flavorful, the ambiance is not intimate or special feeling, we asked 3 different people if they have bread (our server, the food runner and the random guy who stoped by to ask if everything was ok) and all said they have it and would bring some right out. They didn't. And these are mostly minor grievances that are completely forgivable if we ere eating at a regular restaurant but when stacked together at a place that markets itself as high end and has lackluster atmosphere, just doesn'tsit right. While the building is beautiful and they have a very nice bar, the main dining room upstairs is just one big open room, which feels like a main dining room on a cruise ship. It's a beautiful space but the tables are much too close together and there is nothing to break up the room to make it feel more intimate, at all. I wanted to love this place but unfortunately the value is not there and the experience falls too far below what they charge.

The mahi mahi with the ratatouli was absolutely awful. It smelled like the fish was spoiled but, after I had the waiter smell it, he said its fine and thats how the dish smells....it was like smelly feet and I couldn't eat it because it was gag-worthy. I should have asked them to take it back and remove it from my bill, but I convinced myself thats how its supposed to taste. A quick Google search says thats not the case with Mahi. So, I spent $40 on a plate of potentially spoiled fish. Im offended and I won't be coming back. Steak was good, though. They cooked it perfectly. But not worth $80. I ate at the bar a while ago and that was a great experience. Im shocked at my experience at the dining room with a menu that has food priced double and triple the price.

Tonight was my husband’s and my first night out since having our second son, and it couldn’t have been better! We sat at the bar to enjoy being kid-free and were lucky enough to be taken care of by Brayden and Heath, who made the experience incredible. The drinks were spot on, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back for more date nights!

Went here for our anniversary last night. The food was phenomenal and service was excellent! The interior is gorgeous and the dining room was busy but not too loud. Highly recommend going for an occasion or if you’re in the area!
