Wow! What a great choice for a nice Christmas dining experience!! My wife always wanted to dine here.
First is the decor. Well decorated for Christmas. Such a beautiful converted old church into a restaurant. We have had drinks in the bar area on the 1st. floor here, some years back and loved it. So we made our dinner reservations for Christmas night 2024.
We were directed to the upstairs dining room. It was gorgeous! The atmosphere, the decorations. As we were being seated, we noticed our jingle bell on a lanyard at our beautiful place settings. Great touch! As was the Christmas music playing in the background.
The entire staff was friendly from our hostess (who also can check in your coats) to our servers Michael & Max.
Michael & Max were excellent. They were very attentive to any of our needs. They were very friendly & professional.
Michael gave us the best suggestions for our meals & dessert. The steaks he suggested were excellent. He was so knowledgeable of the differences of how they were prepared. They came prepared perfectly. The sides we ordered were great. I loved the sautéed spinach & mashed potatoes. Delicious. A garlic hint in both.
I figured I may finish my 20 oz. steak, but I was surprised to see my wife finish hers. It was that good. The dessert was a 24 Ct. (Carrot) Cake. Wow! It tasted delicious. The icing drizzled across it just made it perfect. Our compliments to the Chef & The Baker!!!
Thanks so much to Michael, Max & the entire staff. I worked a job for years that took me away from family & friends at Christmas time. We appreciate you being there so my wife and I (and we could see many of other people seated around us) have a wonderful (Christmas) dining experience. Looking forward to a future return visit.

Food was good. Service wasn't great. Husband ordered an old fashioned. He received it in an awful Tom Collin's type glass with to a of ice. It looked like a bay breeze. We inquire as to why it wasn't in a nice big glass with a round piece of ice. She said "oh would you like me to change that out?" We said yes and then was charged for both of them. Ridiculous. Desserts weren't very good either. All other food was good. Shrimp, steak, sides, etc. Ambiance was just ok.

We at at Oldestone last night. The restaurant is beautiful, really cool location. The service was ok, not great. For the price, it was not good. The food was passable at best. 3 steaks, all somewhat rubbery and not very good. If it was a local Hoss', they would be fine but for the price definitely 1 star. I'd recommend Butcher and Singer or Russ Chris, both of which provide much better for that is commensurate with the price.

First time checking out this location, very easy to go to, the dining room setting is phoenimal being this restaurant is inside a church. Atmosphere is great, we got there for an early dinner since we had a show after, but the steaks/sides/drinks were all to perfection and our server was amazing too. Portions were good as well.
Would recommend the Spicy Marg and the Pink M&M for beverages,
Prices were average to normal for a steakhouse but it's worth checking out if you're looking for a new location.
Dined with my wife here Saturday the 16th. We ordered a Porterhouse to share, as well as a few sides. Our server, Drew, went above and beyond, making what could have been a rough night out a great experience. When he greeted us he gave us a rundown on the specials, helped us find a cocktail we both enjoyed. The evening took a turn, as our steak came out somewhat underwhelming… far too rare. We were starving… we picked at it, the waiter did come over to check on our evening multiple times, but at the end he seemed to notice we weren’t eating parts of the steak… He quickly intervened and catered to our inability to eat the steak, got it remade, was genuinely sincerely trying to make sure we enjoyed our evening. We get things happen, it was busy, and variables occur… The waiter basically, promptly got a he steak cooked a bit more, although we would have rather had a replacement. All in all the food quality was quite good, but the cooking problem increases considering the price of the steak. Drew stood out by how attentive he was, he gave some good recommendations, explained the size and quality of the prime rib, which was absolutely top tier. The food simply came out undercooked. We kept deciding whether or not to send it back. If he hadn’t noticed our reluctance to finish, we probably would have left upset…. He noticed, and we finally answered honestly… the food was replaced, and he offered us a desert. We appreciate the way the staff does actually fix any issues with food.

My wife and I spent the weekend in New Hope and had dinner at Oldstone. You definitely should make reservations as they were packed. Oldstone is in a converted church and the dining room is simply spectacular. It is a beautiful facility with stained glass windows and an amazing mural where the altar had been.
We enjoyed a bottle of wine and had the bacon as an appetizer. For our entrees, my lovely wife chose the crab cakes while I enjoyed a New York strip with a blue cheese crust. It was cooked a perfect medium rare and was delicious.
I feel terrible that I can’t remember our server’s name but she was charismatic and definitely not pretentious. She made the evening fun.
If you are looking for a restaurant in New Hope for a special occasion, Oldstone is definitely the place.

We went here on a date night and were super impressed. Very cool building from the outside, but the upstairs main dining room was stunning. We had a medium rare filet which was beautifully seared in the outside and cooked perfectly inside. My salmon was cooked house temperature, which was a little more done than I'd prefer, but shame on me for forgetting to specify my temp. Cocktails were great. It was a the perfect beginning to our night French onion soup was bomb, as was the spinach dip .

The medium-rare filet was perfectly tender and flavorful delivered on a sizzling hot plate.The beef tomatoes with onions were delicious and complemented the steak beautifully. A fantastic pairing! I strongly encourage everyone to visit this steakhouse—it's an experience you won’t want to miss.
