5pm reservations Wednesday, October 28, 2020; party of seven to celebrate mom’s 85th birthday. Our table was next to the Chef’s Counter where the owner Kate was seated with her young daughter.Brenda our server was great and provided excellent service. Culinary experience was fine. Mushroom soup received mixed reviews and the balance of the meal (bread, salads, various entries and desserts) were enjoyable to all.Unfortunately, after the bill was paid mom’s chair broke underneath her and she fell to floor. Per the picture you can see where the chair leg splintered from the seat. The response from the owner was very underwhelming and unresponsive. She was standoffish. Not sure if that is her general attitude or a “say nothing” instruction from legal counsel.I understand that accidents happen, and how a business responds is what separates them and makes them stand out. The lack of empathy and indifference from the owner is highly disconcerting. We did not even receive an apology or a sorry this happened.For a Service Industry Business this demonstrates an absence of customer service and a lack of wanting my repeat business; especially in this economic environment. For full disclosure I did email the owner, and this was her response: “I hope your mother is well!”If you do decide to go – make sure to check the integrity of your chair.

Food was very fresh and falvorful. Great option and specials. A BYOB which was fine for us. Ambiance and decor are perfect. Extremely clean and our server as execclent- attentive and knowledgeable

This is one of the hidden gems of the area. In fact I didnt know it exist until some friends invite us. Menu is superb. All fresh ingredients. Gorgeous pasta and dessert. BYOB.

Amazing food and atmosphere!!! We had grilled octopus ( must try!), carpaccio , black truffle pasta, seafood soup, and pork. Everything was absolutely perfect!!! Great service!

We love this place and plan on going back soon. Food is very, very special. Service, setting & outdoor scenery matches the food. One of the best in a locale with great dining.

Think I found a new favorite restaurant. Everything was delicious and made with freshest ingredients. I had the autumn salad to start....just wonderful. Ordered it without the prosciutto. Had the Baramundi for entree....beautiful and delicious. And lastly they had a gluten free pumpkin pana cotta for dessert that was to die for! Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.
First time visit, every thing was delicious, Black Sea bass, very well made and presented on the plate, the chef is very good !!!!! Very happy we tried this restaurant, awesome food. We also got truffle pasta dish.

First walking in you’ll notice the clean, and beautifully decorated atmosphere. The staff was very welcoming and made you feel safe during the current times. The food left me speechless, it was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend getting the chefs specials. The unique, fresh and decadent meals are worth it. I will be going back very soon.

Meadowlark is such an amazing addition to New Hope. My husband and I had such a great experience that we needed up dining there two nights in a row. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the outside canal seating was very relaxing and great for people watching. The staff is so friendly and go out of their way to ensure a great dining experience. Stephanie was our server the first night and Kate was our server the second night. They were both so helpful and professional. As far as the food.. wow!!! Everything was fresh and delicious. The hot homemade bread was a great starter. The seafood soup special was excellent even on a hot summer night. The octopus was very tender and is definitely a must. The seafood cavatelli was also unbelievable. It was so light and the sauce had just enough spice. Another impressive thing about the restaurant was that they take Covid precautions seriously. We witnessed proper cleaning and great compliance with masks. We cannot wait to go back next time we are in town!
