I have been going here since it was called Wildflowers. Best wine bar in town. Exotic-ish beer list. Classy joint. Downstairs is more romantic, upstairs has people watching possibilities.

The wine offered here is delicious but the food was sorely lacking. Either the items needed more seasoning and salt (curry scallops), the bread used was subpar (salmon sandwich), the filling vs cheese wasn't well balanced (spinach kale pie), or the lobster was overcooked (lobster mac and cheese), but the food was a disappointing piece on an otherwise lovely experience.

Very pricey for extremely mediocre food and laughable portions. Beef Wellington tasted weird, but dough was good. Sea bass was 2 actual bites, no exaggeration. Octopus was 5 chewy little pieces. Truffle fries were good. Rice pudding was about 2-3 spoonfuls. Typical dish is $20 for basically nothing. You’ll leave here broke, hungry, and feeling ripped off.

Loud but good energy, food was limited in choice but decent in flavor

Vegetarian options: Good variety, clearly marked for vegetarian as well as gluten-free

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free clearly labeled

Parking: Keep going up the hill over the bridge and to the left is a pay to park lot that usually has spots.

The sparkling champagne flight was delectable.

The Brie cheese fromage and short rib small plate were absolutely delicious, I would 100% recommend!

Pass on the seasonal (pumpkin/squash) ravioli, we weren't thrilled with it.

We were there for lunch & there is nothing not to love about this Gem of a restaurant! We were greeted with a smile . ( We had made a lunch reservation). We sat in a glass room amongst the treetops . The food was well presented & delicious . We had the tuna tacos & grilled cheese sandwich with white cheddar, apple & maple bacon . It's was delicious. All of the food had quality ingredients, was fresh & well presented . The two dishes were enough for us . We also had 2 drinks each . My wine was very good & they don't mind letting you have a taste of wine if you aren't sure of your selection. I wanted to try more dishes as there are so many wonderful ones to choose from , but 2 were enough for lunch . Don't believe one bad review .. this place is a gem & the waitress was so nice !! We will be back !!

Parking: Drive around side streets . Lots are not obvious . Allow 15 min to find parking . Parking kiosks are at end of streets .

Our first time at Nektar and second time in New Hope. Great service , delicious food, attentive staff and allergy friendly. Kenny was great with dealing with my severe shellfish allergies, overall great experience and spectacular food.
We’ll definitely be back!

My fiancee and I visited Nektar on a date night. Their food is great and their outside patio has a really nice view of New Hope while you eat - Would definitely go back!

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary Tuesday night at Nektar, we aligned on a romantic spot in New Hope overlooking the Playhouse minus the weekend tourist crowds. We were very excited as we arrived on time for our 5 pm reservation, and had a choice of tables for 2 out back on the upper deck, yet kitchen food prep issues marred our overall experience for the price point. We were drawn by the 4.2 star (out 721 reviews) but unfortunately, our experience was a 3 - 3.5 at best.

This in no way reflects on Afrodite our server nor the large array of menu choices both foot and especially on libations.

In summary, 2 of our 5 small plate dishes were well over cooked-- the pork tamales were burnt on the ends and dry and the dish I had my heart set on, the Chilean Sea Bass was well overcooked with dry uninspiring flavor. Very upsetting due to the cost of the dishes and the point that when we were served the place was virtually empty... should never had happened. As for the other dishes they too missed the point by being a few steps just above room temperature leading us to under if many dishes are prepared ahead of time and left to sit until ordered and then possibly heat lamp heated.

Here's what we ordered:
Opened with the beet salad (this was perfect), followed by the pork tamales, followed by the scallops (this was very good, but could have been warmer), chilean sea bass which was overcooked and dry, and lastly the Panko Shrimp which was okay.

The certainly win for plating presentation as you'll see in my photos but with the other options in town, we'd think really hard about returning.
