My mother and I were there to celebrate her birthday, the entire experience was amazing! We sat on the veranda overlooking the river, the fall foliage was still n full display, stunning views! The food was amazing, we shared a salad, appetizer and meal and had plenty to take home. Our server made the experience even better as she continuously checked in with us to make sure there was nothing we needed. We will definitely be going back!
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Odette's. We were celebrating our Anniversary and we could of not been happier with our experience at Odette's the food was exceptional! Our waitress Jen was so sweet and informative about all the meal selections. I had the filet mignon it was excellent and my husband had the filet mignon along with the lobster tail. That meal was also exceptional. We had the apple cider donuts for dessert! They were excellent. I may add the atmosphere was very nice.
Where to begin.... Odette's is a gem for any occasion. The food is exceptional-always! Our server, Shelby, is the best of the best! She always greets us with a smile and is intuitive about asking if we need anything. She has a fabulous personality and sense of humor. Keith, the bartender, is also fabulous. He greets patrons very willingly and is a great cocktail mixer. He never disappoints! We always enjoy spending an evening enjoying cocktails and delicious food with good friends at Odette's.
Odette's was wonderful. The atmosphere was great. Our server was was great-he was personable and timely. We had the pappardelle with lobster, sea bass and pork chop. Each meal was perfect. We enjoyed a perfect evening!
Incredible food. The bacon was the best we've ever had. Lobster pappardelle was scrumptious and the Chilean sea bass was cooked perfectly, not to mention the amazing gnocchi that came with it. Highly recommend. Glad we dressed up for dinner as the crowd was upscale. Great views of the River if you get a table outside (it is covered with heat lamps too!) Enjoyed all around.
Food was over cooked shrimp almost unrecognisable no flavour. Apple cider donuts were undercooked almost raw int he middle and looked more like falafel on mashed potatoes. Very didsaponting meal
There was a live piano music , which is why I booked the dinner . However as soon as he started playing a couple blocked everyone's view by standing and talking to the piano player for over an hour ! There was only one waitress assigned to all the tables in the piano lounge which made dinner service a slow and frustrating process . My fillet came to the table and the sides came 25 minutes later . The sides were untouched because of the delay . Apps came To the table and I was unable to get someone's attention for 10 minutes to tell them they forgot plates ! So from start to finish it was bad . They apologized many times but that didn't take the sting out of paying $260 for a terrible experience . We visit this town monthly but will not be returning to Odettes ,
Keeping it short, simple, and specific: Visually appealing dining room. Waiter was constantly trying to upsell on more sides and more drinks. Slow service. Had to send back the calamari because it soggy (second batch was better). Drinks were OK, my martini was lukewarm. Steaks were good. Took over an hour between appetizer and entrees. Given the prices, I'd expect better. And not a negative, but be aware that the only parking is valet and it was $10.
For the restaurant. Very over priced for poor service and average food. Filet mignon ordered medium should not be gray for $60. Crab cake sandwich shouldn't have burnt buns. Average drinks for $22 each ( old fashioned and Grey goose Cosmo) are better at Sycamore Grill in Newtown for the half the price. I would say the food is better too. Avoid unless u like over paying.
The food was incredible but the service was the worst I've ever had in my adult life dining out. Literally sat with our menus for over 45min. Server disappeared twice for long stretches. Reached out to restaurant directly before making a review and they've yet to make it right. Won't dine there again.

First, Valet parking is mandatory with a $10 charge. Possible long waits both arriving and leaving, valets are overwhelmed at times. Elevator up to restaurant level. We had a reservation but were offered outdoor or piano lounge seating. We may have been offered other seating but it was rather noisy. We took the piano lounge. The entertainment was good but the piano was a little loud for the room making conversation an effort until you adjusted. Drinks were just ok. For a starter I had Slab Bacon with jalapenos. It was delicious. For mains I had the St. Georges scallops, as did my wife. I thought mine were very good but hers were salty. They were over grilled cream corn (very good) with Brocolli (tough). We skipped dessert. I had a double espresso. I got a generous amount in a small coffee-type cup with no lemon rind or sugar. It was good and strong but not very hot. My wife's black coffee was good. Odette's tries to be a convenient as they can. New Hope is very compact and Odette's is now a hotel in addition to a restaurant making everything crowded. It's pricey but what isn't these days. I'm glad we went but I don't think we'll make a habit of it. As an aside, we wanted to use our antique car to drive there. Most restaurants in the area use valet service but will allow me to park the car myself. When I called Odette's and asked about doing that I was told they may be able to work something out but no guarantee that I would be able to drive my own car. I opted to use another car. When I got there I understood.
It was a lovely evening to celebrate my sister's 65th birthday. We laughed at the valet parking our Rogue, which added to the experience. We arrived at the restaurant via elevator--very bougie! We wanted to sit outside along the river for the view but were told that a party of 5 couldn't sit there because of the fire code. We sat at a lovely booth, although near the wait station so it was a little distracting. OUR SERVER (Jule?, Emily) WAS WONDERFUL! The food was delicious as it should be for the high prices. I think I would have been a little disappointed, and my sister too, if it weren't for our server making the evening special by going way and above. We invited her back to the rental property we were at because she just seemed like she would fit right in with our group. This beautiful person enjoys people and you are lucky to have her on your team at your lovely property and restaurant! Thank you!
Fantastic evening dinner seated outdoors with wonderful views of the Delaware river. Very quaint charming place to visit that has a unique rooftop bar for guests staying at the hotel and exclusive paying members. They have a fairly extensive wine list and some great cocktails to start your meal with. The menu has a varied selection of creative cuisine. We enjoyed a delicious panzanella caprese salad with wonderfully fresh tomato's and a nice high quality olive oil. I had the generously portioned 12oz filet with blue cheese butter crust and chianti bordelaise sauce that was cooked to perfection. My wife had the perfect duo served with a small lobster tail we shared that was delicious. Dessert was also very nice, small portions and not too sweet. My only concern was the hotel was hosting a wedding reception that evening which started towards the end of our meal. I have to say that having lousy club music intruding into the dining area was a bit of a turn off. Other than that its a brilliant establishment with wonderful views and a charming warm atmosphere that should be on your list.
We eat here often for brunch. This time, everyone ordered a lunch type meal, rather than something more breakfast-y, and across the board, we were all happy with our meals. The view overlooking the river is perfect this time of year, and we were delighted that a leisurely pace of service gave us time to enjoy it and each other. The servers were all great.
Outstanding meal from start to finish. Our server, Anthony, was top notch. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Cocktails were all interesting and tasty and the apps and entrees were all excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Pork Chop, filet, tuna tacos were all standouts. View of the river was amazing. Looking forward to my next visit!
