Incredibly nice owners and management. They were able to quickly seat my party of 10 on a Saturday night. The food was delicious and came out hot and quick. I highly suggest the bang bang shrimp (which was a very mild spice).

Delicious food! We got the giant pretzel and the loaded cheese fries for appetizers and they were both fantastic! We also got the grilled chicken sandwich and cheese steak and they were really good! Jo was our server and he was attentive and really nice! We would def stop here again!

Been going to Square One for some time now so we decided o try Ace Cafe. We walked in and no one at host stand and after awhile the bartender said we could sit anywhere. We waited 6 minute before we saw a server and got our menus. Mean while the two bar people were standing around looking at TV. The server finally came around and took our drink order and they sat on the bar getting warm. The restaurant was not busy but she liked to spend time standing in the kitchen. We could see her in the kitchen door window. Again, the bartender stood by our drinks at the bar looking at them doing nothing…. but never thought to deliver them to the table. We had to ask for water and that came 1 at a time. The dumplings were very good but unfortunately my steak sandwich was very dry. The tacos were very good. The front end team should work together. The poor server seemed like she did not know what she was doing and the bartender staff rather stand around versus helping the server.

Walked into the bar and waited 15 minutes for someone to come out. Tried to call and no answer. Two other customers were waiting with me. We went back and asked the chef and he said someone would be out in a couple of minutes. No one came out and I wasted half of my lunch break sitting there waiting for somebody. Seems very unorganized really disappointed because I heard great things about their food.

There was a small gathering of British cars and motorcycle s Last Sunday. This happens once a month. The owner has bought the American rites for the British Ace Cafe. We went in for coffee and had an expresso. We ate nothing so I am not able to make any assessment of the food or drink items. We did have a good time of fellowship though.
Took the waitress 3 trys to get my brother-in-law a corona. Thier "sprite" was just club soda with a dash of syrup in it. There were 7 if us on 4 different checks and they automatically charged us 22% gratuity. The service was barley 2%. And we all ordered at the same time, yet all our apps and entries came out at different times. One person in our group got his entrie before the apps.
