We’ve been eating at The Good Gyro for both dining in and catering our family events, and the food is consistently excellent!
My husband is Lebanese and says it’s as authentic as eating in his home country - that’s the highest praise for food coming from him :).
The owners are such kind people and you can tell this is truly a family-oriented business. The husband and wife team puts so much care into everything they do. Every time we’ve used them for catering family gatherings, all our guests compliment the food and ask where it came from.
The authenticity really shines through in every dish, from their hand-ground spices to their traditional preparation methods. It’s wonderful to have found a place that brings genuine Mediterranean flavors to our community.

We stopped by the Ferry Market to browse through all of the eateries. As soon as I saw The Good Gyro I had to take a closer look. I love Mediterranean food so I can be a bit picky about it. We shared a platter with a variety of dishes. The hummus was smooth and full of flavor, the lamb was spiced to perfection and not dry at all. We also had Baba ghanoush another eggplant dish and Falafel, all topped with taziki and pita to dip. All delicious. All I can say is we loved it so much that we went back the next night and picked up another platter to go to munch on while we sat on the porch at our B&B. We will definitely be back!

The Potatoe Dill Latkes are phenomenal, the dill is well balanced and accented with large feta chunks that are delicious. And they are fried perfectly. Thank you for bringing this quality of food to the Market.

Tried the gyro platter. It was pretty good! Highlights were the meat and the salad that came with it. Areas to improve: The drop of tahini sauce didn't do much for me, I was missing the punch and the freshness of tzaziki. The portion itself was rather small for the price. You get bigger plates for half the money in germany, with gyros being everywhere.
