I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately I spent $9 for 3 “donuts” - balls of dough too greasy to swallow. Hoping if I try it in the future it’ll be better….

We ordered five dozen cupcakes from Sweet Alchemy for my daughter's birthday party and they were delicious - so many people complimented them! Jamie was able to accommodate our order on rather short notice and was very pleasant to communicate with. Additionally, we have food allergies in the family and Jamie made me feel very comfortable talking over everything and also gave us a full list of all ingredients used. Thanks so much Jamie - will definitely order here again!

I tried Sweet Alchemy's cookies and cupcakes at at Veganfest and now at the bakery. They don't disappoint! If your near New Kensington, go there (but check the hours to make sure they're open). It's also worth a short drive from Pittsburgh.

Amazing!! I've been wanting to try this place forever and am so glad I did. I had a bourbon chocolate chip cookie sandwich with salted caramel buttercream. I am still drooling. I tried to save half to dip in coffee when I got home but it didn't survive the car ride.Also pro tip- the owner loves it if you bring your dogs to the take-out window!
