I can honestly say, I don’t think I’ve ever had a better fried haddock sandwich, a better drink, or better service than today.
The food was amazing (this sandwich was massive! It filled both Adam and I!), and the bartender (Jared) was not only super friendly and social, but he also gave amazing recommendations on drinks, and was super attentive and overall one of the best bartenders I’ve ever been around!
I will definitely be returning to Green Gables again.
The staff were very friendly and attentive! Food was tasty! Lots of choices to feed adults and children. Large portion sizes and fair prices!
Great atmosphere, great selection of craft beer, & great food!!!

Green Gables is a charming restaurant with a unique, historic atmosphere, mostly original from 1928. The restaurant offers large portions of good pasta dishes, including vegetarian options such as pasta, salads, and veggies. The salad bar has a variety of choices, but note that it comes with entrees only once and additional trips will incur an extra fee. The prime rib is delicious, and the salad bar is phenomenal. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the overall experience enjoyable. The atmosphere is nice, with new tables and a welcoming feel. Green Gables has a huge parking lot, including space for trailers and RVs, making it a great stop for travelers. All dining areas are on the ground floor, and the parking lot is level and paved, providing plenty of wheelchair accessibility.
