I can honestly say, I don’t think I’ve ever had a better fried haddock sandwich, a better drink, or better service than today.
The food was amazing (this sandwich was massive! It filled both Adam and I!), and the bartender (Jared) was not only super friendly and social, but he also gave amazing recommendations on drinks, and was super attentive and overall one of the best bartenders I’ve ever been around!
I will definitely be returning to Green Gables again.

Ate at bar. Bartender was good, but it took 45 minutes for our meals to be served. They also messed up the sides with both orders, so we had to wait for the correct sides.

I read all the reviews place sounded great. Went on Friday at 12:30 pm for lunch. Was not sure what door to go in. Went in first door no one in a dining area so went in second door. Walked into the bar area. Walked towards the back and a waitress said go sit where you want. There were two other tables besides us. Our waitress took our order. She asked if we were gonna charge it or pay cash. I asked why. She said because they charge 3% more of you use a charge. I thought that welcome was very strange. We asked for water. My husband asked for a bowl of soup and a grinder. I ordered ravioli. That’s it. Almost an hour passed and she brought out his grinder and my ravioli. I asked her “ did you forget my husband’s soup” she said “yea” and walked away ……she returned 10 minutes later with his “super hot “soup- Probably microwaved. She asked if I wanted grated cheese and I said yes please. She came back after I had finished half of my dish to put grated cheese on top. Now the food was good. Id say average. But there was excuse for that long of a wait. There was no one in the dining room but two other tables. We wouldn’t go back because who wants to wait that long? Terrible service. Bathrooms are right in the dining room Parking was easy.

Great October Burger special! Onion rings nice and crispy. Restaurant is clean and staff welcoming. Will stop again on our next trip to Finger Lakes

Had reservations and bar person was nasty..had to.get up and look for a server, veal parm was a patty, not real veal. Will not be back. At that kind of money I can go somewhere else. They need to learn how to cook. Ohh hubs had the special, lol the bbq chicken is had been sitting there for a time. Dry as sand and a nasty taste. Had been sitting to long. Never will come back. I can do better at home better.
