20 out of 10 stars! I heard nothing but positive things about CJs and today I ordered dinner (family of 4) after work. I called and the lady was SO SWEET and helpful. I ordered and picked it up about 15-20 monster after I called. I walked into her clean adorable restaurant/kitchen (take out only) and was greeted with a smile, a sweet hello, and oh my goodness the smell was AMAZING!! She had my food all packed up for me and I was on my way home. I couldn't wait to get home to eat the food smelled absolutely amazing!! I went to her Facebook page to see what the daily meals were. Today there were a few and I ordered stuffed peppers for all 4 of us. The meals are so filling!! A $15 dollar meal I got a stuffed pepper, a bun and butter. A drink and a choice of 2 sides. We got 3 dinners with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese and 1 dinner with a fruit salad and coleslaw. And oh my goodness everything WAS FANTASTIC!! I will 100% be ordering dinner from here again!!! For $15 you get a fantastic dinner!! Sorry my pictures aren't the best we were hungry and left no crumbs!! The owners even have time for chit chat as well Thanks so very much for the Verterans Day free meal with roll and drink My husband enjoyed every bit He got the meatloaf mashed potatoes and broccoli salad Thank your son as well for his service in the Air Force Thanks for being here in New Stanton God bless

I go to CJ’s religiously, every wednesday for lunch. The owners are so friendly, inviting & I always make time to chit chat. The food is ALWAYS consistently delicious. I order a large salad & whatever the soup choice is of the day. Over the span of at least a year of Wednesday lunch trips, I have yet to be disappointed! No yuckie pieces in my salad & they use real lettuce! no from a bag bs! I am constantly telling my friends and family to go fill their bellies w/ REAL HOMEMADE FOOD @ CJ’s! Today, i had the BEST beef & noodle soup i have ever had - don’t tell my mom 🤤🤪 Paired w/ a large house salad (didn’t last for a photo 😂) I am a CJ’s fan for life ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Diamond in the Rough. Stopped in mid afternoon for a quick meal to take on the road. Beautiful, clean store with tribute to the military and first responders.
It looks like the meal Changes with whatever is being made fresh that day. A couple of the entree selections included spaghetti and meatballs and chicken and biscuits. I ordered the chicken and rice soup and 3 meat chili. The chicken and rice soup was the best I’ve ever had. Incredibly satisfying. The lady working the register was very nice. They care about community and appreciate their patrons. I will be back here anytime I’m hungry and in the New Stanton area. Sorry no pictures. I ate everything before my phone had a chance.

Love that this is a take out only option but even more so that it is home cooked REAL food. It was my first time in, and the husband and wife team were so friendly and welcoming. The place looks impeccably clean and the signage is clear and concise. The food was delicious, and as one other reviewer mentioned, not over salted. This is a great option when you don't feel like cooking, which for me is all of the time! Definitely will go back and try some of the other selections.
