“It was a fun atmosphere the girl at the bar had it going on. I thought she was the bar manager but when I asked her if she is the bar manager she asked me if I’d like to speak to the bar manager. I wish I would know her name. She really kept her head in the game and seemed to watch over and help the young ladies whom were tending to people.“

“Now this place is pure local gold! If you are camping down the street at the lot lizard your gonna wanna stop In here. They look like they have good wings. Have I had the wings? No. But just by the look of the inside you know they have that 3 week old fryer oil that just adds something to all there fried food. The people there are just an awesome crew... “The atmoshere is Great!! 2nd time i been there the service Sucks!! Bigtime. 1 lady behind the bar and all she cared about was cooking. Then when that was over she was at opposite side of bar facing one guy chatting too him and on her phone. Horrible service.. 1st time I was there the owner lady was great. Older chinese lady. She had fun while running the bar. She even gave me a chip too come back next week.“

“We have stopped here a few times. It's really worth the trip! Tonight we had the vegetable soup, burger special, chicken wontons and loaded tots. Soup was very good and the rest came out pretty quick for how busy they were. Service was great, we didn't wait at all for drinks. Love that you can play the Boombah's!! “What I recommend about Slate Mill Tavern are the drinks obviously. They have one of the best bar tenders Shelby. She always makes the best drinks you order. I also recommend most of the food I have had the wings, fries, tater totes, nachos, wraps. The best tater totes are the home style gravy and cheese.“

“Solid restaurant right off the exit to Palmerton. The property has definitely improved over the years. I recommend coming here for more casual meals. It can get loud and gets pretty tight when busy or when games are on. Food was solid, too. Came here with my family for an unplanned dinner.“

“I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!! The atmosphere was very inviting and clean! The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Tonight was a very busy night and was surprised at how quickly our meals came out! Our waitress was super nice and checked up on us regularly to make sure we were happy with our meal and that our drinks stayed full. The owner Scott even came out often and to check on his customers and was a pleasure to speak to! We will definitely be back and I can’t wait to try out some of the other delicious food I saw people getting around us.“
