Spanky's Breakfast & Lunch

I have been enjoying Spanky's for over 5 years. The waffles and pancakes are always delicious. Eggs are always cooked to Perfection never runny never burnt. Every time I'm in this area I'm here at least twice. If you get the chance to have their sausage gravy over biscuits you got to get them. Staff is always friendly coffee is always hot be sure to check them out. Great local place with a cozy feel inside and neat license plate decorations.

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. It's kind of plain inside, with lots of license plates hung up. The waitress took long to come over to us initially, especially since the place was empty, but after that she was good. Most importantly, the breakfast was very good!

Everything was top-notch. The staff were friendly and quick. The food was tasty. The place was packed and service did not suffer because of it.

This is the best small town diner around

It was perfect and was exactly what we were looking for after a long night of partying. We all ordered breakfast food and a lot of it and the waitress nailed all of it. She was so nice, I wish I could remember her name. She was so polite and helpful. Food came out really fast and was extremely affordable. After breakfast she recommend the cinnamon bun which couldn’t have been any better. Also, get the French toast. They also have both sausage patties and links! One of my buddies forgot his jacket and our waitress came running after us with it on! Lol! Thanks again so much!

We drove over from Hemlock to get breakfast with our family and it did not disappoint! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendliest woman. The owners family and child were hanging out at the counter and immediately started chatting with my son. The food is so reasonably priced and delicious! The potatoes with onions were my favorite. The thing that stood out the most was the impeccable service. We will absolutely come back when we are visiting PA. Sorry no photos, it was so good we ate too fast!

I was there for an unusual occurrence, dinner. As the name, spanky's breakfast and lunch implies, that's not normally their forte.

But this was a special occasion as it was their anniversary dinner. I want to see the 35th year? It was my first night in the area and everybody was very welcoming the original owners have their daughter running it and I'm not sure she's there all the time but she was there that night. Being from Philadelphia we had a very nice talk and we got along great.

I have stopped back in since then for some oatmeal and coffee and everybody was kind to me and didn't really make a big deal about me paying with change, which is my 2025 sticking to my budget plan. I digress but it's working great so far nobody's been overly perturbed for me in this area.

I actually went so far as to put in an application looking for maybe some part-time work in the area and again go to the way to meet local people.
