Loved our stay and experience at the Manor!

We just stayed at the French Manor for our anniversary this past week… First off for three days we spent $1500 for the room that yes it was very nice but the air conditioning unit kept going on and off so noisy. It was ridiculous. Looking through past reviews i noticed complaints about the air conditioning units… seems they haven’t bothered fixing them.
We went in the mornings for their complementary breakfast … It was very good… except for a sweet young girl the staff was rude. Didn’t even ask how your day was made no effort at having a conversation, wasn’t like they were busy only 5 other tables or so. Only question constantly asked from them is were we going to be dining with them… Second morning we got the same thing. Hardly got a good morning from them. Portions were very small… And again only question was will we be dining with them? We were checking out. I didn’t even bother going for breakfast, but when we went to check out the woman at the desk didn’t even ask how our stay was if we enjoyed anything, nothing :: only what credit card should be used .:: extremely rude… I have been going to the Poconos celebrating our anniversary for 15+ years and this is the first place that can honestly say that I will be crossing off the list. Also, when we booked the trip, we did put down we were celebrating our anniversary: Didn’t expect anything but didn’t even get a happy anniversary… staff was extremely standoffish .. spending 1500.00 for our short time there They could have made a little effort . I truly feel that since we didn’t eat dinner at their restaurant or
Book any of
Their spa services , They couldn’t care less we were there or not
Would not recommend to anyone
I would honestly give them zero stars The view from our deck was very nice

Everything was great. Room was great, service for dining was great. The property and amenities were nice for relaxing. Spa service from staff was perfect. Only gripe I had was pool temperature. It was cold and shiver inducing. Also, the dry sauna did not heat up enough to induce any sweating. Other than that spa was nice. The property was in the middle of a lot of things to do.

Incredible first time experience, my boyfriend and I will definitely be back. Location was stunning, dinner could not have been better, and we both greatly enjoyed our facials. If you are looking for a peaceful, romantic getaway this would be an ideal spot!

We recently celebrated our anniversary at The French Manor and Spa, and our experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, providing exceptional service and warm hospitality that made us feel truly welcomed.

The spa was a highlight of our trip – we both thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing massage and a refreshing facial that left us feeling completely rejuvenated. Every detail, from the serene ambiance to the professionalism of the staff, made the experience unforgettable.

Thank you to everyone at The French Manor and Spa for making our anniversary celebration so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

We will definitely go back again. The staff was extremely friendly. If you want to get away from everything this is the place to go.

Really disappointed in spending $480.00 dollars for a room that is way over priced. Charging that much money for a room, everything inside should be held to a higher standard. First the noise from the room upstairs is unbearable when your trying to relax, you hear everything, I will leave a video from my cell phone of being in bed and hearing everything including every time they’d flush the toilet, this was constant. Running the AC at night meant you’d wake up every time it kicked on, and it looked like it was going to fall off outside. The window in the bathroom needs TLC, (wouldn’t be so bad if you weren’t paying almost $500.00 a night), and the drain in front of the room outside doesn’t work in the rain and you have to walk through puddles to get to the room. For the money we expected more.

Wonderful stay. It was peaceful and beautiful. Dining was elegant.
The spa was so relaxing, I didn’t bother to go to the Casino on the way home. I wanted to continue the peaceful mood after my facial. Only wish was my late Stan had been there to share.

My husband and I recently stayed at The French Manor Inn and Spa for a relaxing getaway and to visit with my siblings who live nearby. The Manor houses the restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. It has a timeless, old-world charm that’s hard to find these days—elegant, quiet, and inviting. We stayed in one of the six romantic Spa Suites each with a fireplace, whirlpool or slipper tub and a private balcony with the view of the Pocono Mountains. We enjoyed every thoughtful detail. The grounds have a peaceful, refined feel that made us want to linger on our terrace.

Over the two days we were there, we golfed off premises and went boating on nearby Lake Wallenpaupack. Back at the Inn, we availed ourselves of the indoor saltwater pool and dry sauna which were perfect for unwinding before wrapping up the day with unforgettable dinners at the inn. Especially notable was the ribeye bourguignon, which was rich and perfectly prepared. The homemade breads were amazing. Morning brought a beautiful view from our terrace and complimentary gourmet breakfasts. The outstanding service truly set the experience apart. Run by the Logan family—veteran innkeepers with over half a century of combined experience—every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay exceptional.

A top-tier boutique inn, The French Manor for decades has consistently earned the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award for both its inn and restaurant—an honor that reflects its excellence in service, accommodations, and fine dining. According to Tripadvisor, the inn ranks in the top 10% of hotels worldwide, based on guest reviews and overall satisfaction. Our experience fully affirms these accolades—from the attentive staff to the tranquil setting, every detail was thoughtfully executed and truly memorable. The French Manor is secluded and romantic, with stunning scenic views of the Poconos and a pampering, spa-focused experience. Its timeless elegance and upscale ambiance with personalized service make it ideal for anyone who wants to unplug and enjoy nature, reduce stress, enjoy a quiet special occasion, or a couple’s retreat.
