My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon at The French Manor. The food served for breakfast and dinner was excellent. The view from the top of the hill is really scenic. The staff were kind and helpful. We stayed in the Venice room. It was nicely decorated, but the bathroom would benefit from some updates with the plumbing (water can be forceful at times since it is well water). I would recommend staying in the spa suites as they looked more modern. The spa was very relaxing, and all guests have free access to the sauna and saltwater pool.
we 'went for my wife's birthday and they exceeded all of our expectaions. from the friendly staff to an amazing day at the spa to the amazing meals.
Super chill place to unwind with fantastic setting and ambiance. Highly recommend if you are looking for Romance.
Perfect weekend getaway! Staff was so friendly and the food was delicious!
I booked my mom a birthday weekend get away for her 65th. Samantha helped me set everything up for my mom to make everything special for her. My mother got the Huckleberry signature facial and absolutely loved it. She looked and felt so relaxed after.
She really enjoyed dining at the restaurant. She loved the pate crostini and short ribs. The wine tasting was full of historical information about the history of the property which she absolutely adored. She said the property was absolutely beautiful, well maintained, and all of the staff were so genuinely nice and welcoming.
She enjoyed dinner in her room and breakfast in bed as well. She loved everything about her stay and would love to come back again.
Thank you again for all of your help, Samantha!!!!!
My birthday was just as wonderful at the french manor than i hoped. Donny and Dave were very accomodating and funny and made sure out dining experience was the best. The landscape and quiet nature was the fall escape i needed.
Two night stay in the first week of November. Probably my fifth visit. Everything, and I mean everything...was top notch. The Inn is well appointed, cozy, and comfortable, while the restaurant was sublime. My wife and I enjoyed two delightful, fireside dinners. This part of Pennsylvania is gorgeous this time of year.
Thank you to everyone at The French Manor Inn & Spa, once again for another Fabulous Autumn getaway! We love everything about your Inn, Superb service, Scrumptious meals and a Fantastic massage at the Spa. Forever in our hearts. With much gratitude! Thank you!
The grounds are absolutely beautiful in the fall. There are two outside fireplaces. One is gas and is an open fire pit and the other is a wood fire pit. Walking trails all around the property. The spa staff was amazing as well as the pricing of the services. The day that we arrived, we were three hours early and they accommodated us in the spa area and we used the pool and sauna until our room was ready. Very nice touch. Staff was very very friendly. The food, OMG THE FOOD Is incredible! Chef is truly creative and talented. We are looking forward to coming back next year to again celebrate our wedding anniversary.
This place was perfect. The staff were so friendly and kind to me and my wife. It was our anniversary and we've officially found our new getaway for it. The room, the service, the staff, EVERYTHING was amazing. 10/10 highly recommend this place. See you all again next year.

Everything was great. We stayed in one of the suites and it was very nice and roomy with a great view and sunrise on our first morning. The breakfasts were fantastic and very filling so we didn’t need lunch any of the days we were there. The staff, while having varying levels of experience, was very helpful and always aiming to please. I would recommend staying here and would recommend one of the suites if possible.
I'm not sure what more there is to say that hasn't already been said about the French Manor, but I wanted to at least sing their praise as they deserve it. My wife and I stayed there for our anniversary and did the couples massage, dinner, drinks, etc. and it was a very nice and relaxing mini vacation where we felt completely disconnected. The massage was fantastic. The dinner and drinks were phenomenal. The customer service was outstanding.
This will certainly be our first choice for date night from now on.
Shout out to Isaac and the ownership team first and foremost. I would say they went above and beyond, but it seems more like above and beyond is their daily habit. We went for a weekend getaway, the food was amazing, the room was cozy and comfortable with enough space to not feel cramped. The views were incredible. Really enjoyed our stay.
Although you have beautiful and well appointed accommodations, we were just as impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. Food was wonderful. We’ve been to many B& B’s - yours is the best.
Im going to share all my thoughts from our weekend getaway this past weekend as a couple which was to relax and unwind (partially a surprise from my husband)
Easy enough to find with the GPS, but definitely off the beaten path. It is absolutely beautiful with the fall foliage right now and the little directions in the main building are such a nice though. This is a theme throughout the weekend in fact that for the most part it was the little things that stuck with us.
Checking in was interesting. The front desk is not immediately obvious and I definitely walked into a bathroom first. However, the process was smooth. The person who checked us in did spoil the surprise my husband planned with chocolate covered strawberries in the room by discussing them and my allergy but it is what it is and they were able to accommodate allergies which was good.
The room itself was fantastic. We had the espirite suite. It was clean, beautifully appointed, and well laid out. The terrace faced the sun rise and was a great place to sit.
Little things were great like I forgot contact solution and one of the young men lent me some from the desk. Additionally, we ordered in one night and the desk brought us utensils.
We ate one night on site. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend the lobster bisque and creme brulee. Service during dinner was great if slightly slow. Food was good quality and there were little touches that made the meal thoughtful and complete.
The only disappointment was my time at the spa. I did the bourbon bliss massage and a mani pedi. The receptionist was warm and welcoming. The spa was clean if small. However, the massage therapist made me feel like I was a burden to her, slightly cold and welcoming. Pretty sure I never got her name. I am a regular consumer of spa services and this had to be top 5 worse massages. She did a good job on the area I asked her to give some focus too however very little focus or pressure anywhere else and a relatively unbalanced massage. The service included hot stones and a back scrub but essentially no massage work on the back which was disappointing.
The nail tech on the other hand was quite personable and friendly. She was helpful in trying to figure out what to have for dinner.
Overall, I would return, definitely eat on site, it's a great little retreat for couples, but likely wouldn't use the spa again.
