About Alfredo's Italian Kitchen

Based on the reviews, Alfredo's Italian Kitchen is a nice big place with a patient and helpful bartender. The food includes a nice tasting cheesesteak that comes with very good french fries and sriracha ketchup, though the cheese distribution could be better. A 5 cheese pizza for an app was so good it made a customer contemplate getting a pizza for a meal, and the chicken picatta was a very large portion with bright flavors and fresh vegetables. The staff and food are great, and the restaurant was a “go-to” for Philly sports games with a game-time happy hour and the best seats in town. For special occasions, the team transformed the room into an elegant brunch for a bridal brunch, serving espresso martinis and mimosas. The service is outstanding, prompt, and attentive, even on hectic high volume nights like Valentine’s Day, with a manager who is very hard working and has created a solid system. The team works well together, everything feels organized and smooth, and the restaurant is highly recommended for a special occasion.

The absolute best food and service we had in a long time 8 persons at our table and every meal got A great feed back. We will definitely make this our restaurant of choice!

First time at Mercato ( I believe it was 10/16) waiter was very personable and friendly, drinks were generous and highlight was the grilled octopus. It took forever to be served and noise was very loud. Went back yesterday, waiter was blah, octopus was smaller size and not as good as 1st time. Even though it took way too long to be served (not waiter’s fault) the Veal Reviera was excellent and the pizza was very good!! I hope they can do something with the noise, way too loud!

Had lunch there today with 7 friends and was very disappointed. Most had pasta and none were raved about. Only until we asked for bread did we get it at the end of the meal. This place is nice, but their food can't compare to the old Giuseppe's. The coffee I had was burnt.
