Great restaurant from food to service!

DO NOT plan a mixed group Happy hour at this venue. They cannot support the seating or division of checks. Only go here for Happy hour if you want to sit at the bar. It is the only way to enjoy Happy hour here despite the fact that the restaurant is literally empty until Happy hour is over. THEY ALSO ADD A 3% SERVICE FEE FOR USE OF A CREDIT CARD WHICH NO ONE MENTIONS AT THE RESTAURANT UNTIL YOU GET THE BILL. IN ADDITION TO AN ADDITIONAL AUTOMATIC 20% GRATUITY ADDED . Our group was only 9 people. Take my advice go somewhere else for Happy hour like Teca they are much more accommodating!

Loved most everything about this restaurant except the small table at which we were seated! Couldn't hold all our stuff. Generous portion of miso soup and loved the edamame. Poseidon roll was excellent and the ambiance is throw back chic. Would have loved to have a drink but alas, a business lunch. Only disappointment was dessert - the macadamia coconut tart did not thrill. Should have stuck with mochi at a Japanese joint, right? I would go back to try each and every signature roll and get the edamame.

I have been here several times over the years. The food is always consistently fresh and tasty. Prices are good for the area. Atmosphere is nice but the main room with the bar is quite noisy. It gets very crowded on weekends. Service is fast and friendly. Menu is large and varied. Location is easy to get to with adequate parking. Great place to go as a couple, with friends, or with family,

Quality continues to degrade over what it once was. The octopus in the salad was tender but fishy tasting, not fresh, didn’t finish. The portion of halibut was tiny and over cooked. The strip steak had a lot of grizzle and was not tender. The gelato had lots of ice crystals. Service just OK. Will not return

Delicious dinner, attentive but not intrusive server, very pleasant atmosphere. We share Asian tapas appetizer platter. Yummy lobster rolls, tasty goydza, spring roll & veggie roll. My husband enjoyed King Kong roll, sister-in-law said her sea bass was delish, as was my spicy noodle dish.

Amazing Peking Duck. Everything else is very good, but the Peking Duck is the high point without a doubt!

Great night out on the patio with the heaters under the stars. Great food, loved our cocktails and service was excellent.

Food is fabulous!!! Peking duck appetizer is off the charts! Chay - tuna sushi roll melts in your mouth. And the Seafood Drunkin is always stellar. What a treat on a Monday night! And the place was packed. Great energy level and vibe, Our service was quite slow this time around, we felt neglected. But the drinks and food kept us engaged. Can’t wait to return.

The tasting menu and Kobe hot rock… unforgettable evening

We ordered two dinners, Divers Scallops and Teriyake Shrimp, with the sauce on the side, total of $60.00.. The shrimp apparently had been brined in a salt solution that rendered it inedible. The orzo that came with the scallops was equally oversalted to the point of inedible. When I called to tell them about this, the young woman who answered the phone just said "Sorry about that." No offer of credit, or even a gift card for a later try. When I said I wouldn't be back, she replied "You don't have to come back." Don't worry honey, I won't. I sure don't need your salt, your high prices, and your snippy attitude. Customer service matters to me.

As always the food was delicious. Sushi was excellent and always wells presented and the non-sushi items were very tasty as well. With the virus situation the seating was very well spaced out which makes the atmosphere not quite what it could be but that is to be expected as we manage our way thru this situation. The staff and the service was excellent all the way thru the meal. One of my favorite restaurants that always manages to hit it out of the park!

App and salad came out at the exact same time. Dinner came out while we were finishing salad. Entrees were not good. Server was clearly overwhelmed. I feel badly for even patronizing the place during Covid. Maybe we should just stay home and not have expectations.
