Only had the Manhattan clam chowder thus far. That said, it was very very good, however, I thought the salt and pepper was overpowering, not allowing the clam flavor to come through.
Employees are super nice and helpful store and freezers are spotless well stocked with all our favorites. Cream of crab soup crab critter balls and of course our favorite smith island crab crakes we were celebrating and enjoyed a super special treat tonight

My first visit to Chucky’s was a great one. Place is awesome. I met Susan working the front counter and she gave me the lowdown on all the products and even got to see my old neighbors from Manayunk food being sold there! Marchianos! She even let me have a little sample of the shrimp salad. Totally amazing. Go here before you go anywhere else for crab cakes, stocks pound cakes, marchianos breads and anything else they have. Amazing food and great people working there!
