“Nestled in the heart of Newtown Square, Teca offers a slice of Italian charm, reminiscent of a quaint trattoria tucked away in the rolling hills of Tuscany. This ristorante buzzes with the warmth of hospitality, where the clinking of glasses and the rich aromas of house-made pastas and Neapolitan pizzas blend to create a symphony of the senses. The wine list is a curated collection of Italian vintages, each bottle telling a story of vineyards bathed in Mediterranean sun. At Teca, every dish is a celebration of time-honored traditions and contemporary flair, a testament to the restaurateurs’ passion for exceptional culinary experiences. Whether it’s the delicate balance of flavors in their signature dishes or the attentive service that makes you feel like famiglia, Teca is not just a meal; it’s an invitation to indulge in la dolce vita.“
“My first visit to Chucky’s was a great one. Place is awesome. I met Susan working the front counter and she gave me the lowdown on all the products and even got to see my old neighbors from Manayunk food being sold there! Marchianos! She even let me have a little sample of the shrimp salad. Totally amazing. Go here before you go anywhere else for crab cakes, stocks pound cakes, marchianos breads and anything else they have. Amazing food and great people working there!“
“We have eaten at this location many times but I have never left a review before. However, we had such a great experience with management that I wanted to leave one! On the night we went a few weeks ago, it was pretty busy so our food took a bit longer than expected to come out. Our toddler was getting fussy and the manager, Tim, was so accommodating and gracious. He specifically came over to our table and made sure that the kitchen brought out some food for our child, that she had crayons in hand, and totally saved the day! It ended up being a lovely night and the food was delicious (as always.) We will continue coming back to Bonefish for the excellent food, drinks, and service!“
“We enjoyed an outstanding dinner at Charlotte's Restaurant on a cold Ssturday evening in March. Our seafood dinners were outstanding in taste and quality. The table service was prompt, professional, and friendly even with the very busy Saturday night crowd. We lingered over dinner for two hours as we enjoyed a piano player who played delightful wide-ranging tunes without stopping throughout our dinner. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience.“
“I will start with “oh what a night”. All the 5 star ratings are spot on. Our server Jack was a love. He is sincere and patient. Jack answered all our questions regarding food selection and we took his suggestions. We were celebrating our grandson’s 18th birthday and was just the celebration we wanted for him. He actually suggested Joey Chops. He liked what he saw online and we went with it.Lollipop lamp chops had to be the best. Lobster dumplings, burrata, She crab soup and onion soup were starters. Main courseWas Westholme Wagu Teres Major,Wagu NY Strip and seared Tuna steaks. Sides also yummy. Then came desserts, amazing chocolate layer cake. profiteroles, and Crème brûlée were a perfect ending to an amazing dinner. Thank you Jack and Joey Chops. We will make this our go to restaurant. ??????“
“This was a special dinner, a nine year anniversary of a relationship and we had a lovely time. The food was excellent, the service, efficient and unobtrusive and the atmosphere was good. There was unobtrusive but agreeable music. It had a distinctive atmosphere for me, reminiscent almost of 30s movies and I would recommend it for a memorable evening. When we went it was obviously prom time at a local school. Being a former Brit, this is not an experience I ever had and it was nice to see the formality of the students.Kid-friendliness: This is likely not a place to expect crayons and paper mats to colour in, but well behaved kids seemed welcome. It is an grown up dining experience and if you are trying to socialise your children, this is a good place to come to.“
“Family of four. Food was excellent and the interior was very nicely decorate but a little noisy only because it was nicely crowded. We started with a strong Capital Cosmopolitan and Wedge with Blue Cheese and Smoked Bacon. It was odd bacon but good. Our mains were a Bone-In Ribeye 22 oz medium rare, a Sliced Filet Mignon with Cipollini Onions/ Wild Mushrooms/ Fig Essence, a Filet Mignon 10 oz medium well, and a Filet Mignon well done with Oscar All steaks were prepared exactly as ordered. The Oscar was so large we couldn't finish all the jumbo lump crab meat. Our sides were Roasted Wild Mushrooms, Creamed Spinach, and Sam's Mashed Potatoes. The mushrooms could've used more flavor. We had a bottle of Terrazas Altos Malbec red wine with our meal. For desert, we had Capital Grille Cheesecake and Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake, and I still can't say which was more delicious. Our waiter, Farokh E, was excellent and made our experience perfect. Expensive but highly recommended.“
“Srinagar has the best samosa chaat in the area. Their takeout packaging is careful and food is kept in a double layered thick brown bag so you don't have to worry about a spill. And if you're lucky, you might just find a surprise complementary dessert in it.“
“Excellent food beautifully presented, gorgeous decor, professional service. Four of us went for an office lunch, had a reservation, and were shown right to our table by the gracious host. The decor is mostly beautiful wood, making the acoustics so live however, that the people talking was so loud we had to yell to hear each other. As it emptied out, it got better. Great place to eat, just not a place for peaceful conversation.“
“Incredible night at DePaul's Table. The food and service were impeccable from the Bone Marrow Appetizer to the Shell Fish Tower and the 22 oz Dry Aged Delmonico Steak. The pictures don't justify the experience. Anthony and Kevin, thank you for a great night. We will be back.“
“Been craving for a good clam chowder and my husband took me here. I've had quite a lot of clam chowder in my life and this place has by far the best clam chowder i've ever had hands down. Came back three more times for the clam chowder and to try other things of course. The food is okay, little heavy handed on the salt for all other foods i've had except for the clam chowder. Would probably tell them less salt in the future since now I know. Customer service so far has always been 10/10, super nice and attentive. Would def keep coming back but tell them less salt on everything lol“
“Food quality and value was good. Restaurant had a high end feel. Only minor negative was when we arrived 90% of the restaurant was empty and we were told to sit at the sushi bar because they were expecting a wave of reservations. However by the time we finished our meal the restaurant was 80% empty so we definitely could have sat at a table. The menu has a lot of good options so we will definitely return.“
“great food and drinks! service was good as well! a little pricey tho! we spent over $250 for 2 people so keep that in mind!Parking: the restaurant is under the hotel so you use hotel parking and if its busy or the hotels booked up you might have to park far and walk a little. there is valet service though but it is not free!“
“LOVE this quaint, affordable, and really delicious spot. First time there and the place was full when we got there but I can understand why! It’s because the food is delicious and the people there are so freakin’ nice!! I am definitely going to be coming back and maybe (most likely) frequently!!“
“Nice place with a friendly staff. Love the atmosphere and the food was good. The location is both very convenient and inconvenient. It's right off of route 1, which makes finding it super easy. But getting out of the parking lot is not easy due to the traffic. Still, great place.Parking: Difficult to pull put of lot during daytime hours. Best to make a right turn out and turn around at the gas station, just to be safe“
“This place is a vibe! Black owned brunch spot. I found this place thru Google search. There’s free parking too. Service was excellent, our server was Sean who was very personable & friendly. As a matter of fact all the wait staff was friendly. We had “the status” cocktail that packed a punch- really delicious, served w/ edible flower & strawberry. My party had Cheeseteak & chicken cheesesteak rolls, chicken & waffles and shrimp platter w/ steamed vegetables. Taste & presentation 9 out of 10. I wanted the shrimps to be a lil bit bigger, but they were delicious!!! We will definitely be returning to try more of the all day brunch menu.“
“Hosted an event at this location and everything went seamlessly. The staff were fantastic, and Cliff was one of the best servers I have ever seen in action! They were also able to set up a projector and provide technical support. The food was so good, everyone who attended the event had high praise. The parking lot is a little weird but once you figure it out, it's a cakewalk.“
“My coworkers and I absolutely LOVE this place! All of the food is delicious and the people who work there are always so nice, accommodating and welcoming! We drive past other Greek restaurants and will willingly follow the olive tree wherever they go!“
“I love this place bec they promote people to dance, even if a person has 3 left feet & they offer lessons! I sometimes feel intimidated bec everyone is so good on their feet! The professional couples that dance make it look awesome! They make you want to learn & they look so romantic! The food is what it is! They don't do fine dining & that's OK! The food is secondary for The Crab Tavern as it should be! This venue knows what works for them! My hats are off to them! The part to them focusing on the dancing, most songs they play are geared to folks wanting to dance & most of the time the floor always has people dancing! It's not like a regular club where the dance floor stays empty! Or worse yet, there are only females dancing by themselves! I'm not saying I don't understand why they do that! At a regular club, the females dance with each other bec the men are intimidated or don't know how to dance!Or they need a couple of drinks to loosen them up!“
“I had the chicken, collard greens and Mac and cheese!!! The food is absolutely phenomenal!!! I highly highly HIGHLY recommend!!! The first bite I had blew me away!! Just wow!!! I was not expecting that at ALL and was pleasantly surprised!!! Wonderful people also!!!“
“Everything was great with our dining experience. I made a reservation for 12 (a work function dinner) and when we arrived, I asked the hostess if she could move us to a better location, which she gladly did. Everyone enjoyed the great service, the food and drinks.“
“Attended a funeral luncheon for my best friend's father. Food was very good and wait staff was very attentive and helpful. My first time there even though I grew up in DELCO and just a few miles down the road. I'm sorry I missed out for so long!“
“We just had our daughter's 1st Birthday/Baptism lunch celebration. We had the restaurant to ourselves and everything went so well. They were super nice and accommodating and my guest enjoyed the food. Even my friend who decorated said she would keep them in mind to recommend to clients seeking a event location. Nicole was awsome!“
“My Mom and I came here for the first time last night. Well lived in Ardmore all our life and never been to this restaurant. We will definitely be back. We ordered the special which was Gnochi with sausage and meatballs. It was delicious. The server was really nice and the atmosphere was nice as well. We will definitely be back to try something else.“
“So delicious! I tried the Johnny Utah signature bowl with sushi rice and added pineapple and everything was so flavorful and fresh. Great serving size and presentation, too! Staff were very friendly when I picked up. Highly recommend this spot - I’ll definitely return.“
“Best sushi in town! The chef told us they import all fish from Japan and he was trained in Japan for nearly a decade. Rarely see a sushi chef take making sushi seriously in the area. Hope they will move back to their old but bigger place soon.“
“Want to start off with, nothing wrong with the food, it is just bland. So if you are a pocky eater, this is for you. Even my grandson was disappointed, his chicken Alfredo tasted just like bechmel sauce with nothing added to it. My fish and chips was nothing to write home about and the 2 other kids do not eat anything with flavor so they don’t know what food with taste , taste like. Now the salad bar is definitely worth a visit. Many choices and can make it your own. Then every drink my daughter tried ordering they were out of. Settled on a Gummi bear, expected a Gummi bear possibly on it as a decoration , nope. Service was great and everyone friendly.“
“I live in NYC but am here for a few weeks scouting. If this place were closer to me it would be my comfort spot. I got the "mini meal crab cake" last night and I'd say it was more than a full meal for me- in fact, I'm eating my leftovers for breakfast. I'm from Chesapeake Bay vicinity (crab country) and was quite surprised by how good this was. Did I mention the cole slaw? I'm always looking for good cole slaw and this exceeded my standards. They confirmed they make it there and I can tell. Thank you Aaron + Kate for taking care of me last night while out on a night scout. What a perfect break.“
“I wish I could convey my thoughts into words, Pam, her husband and staff. They have the hearts of a servant. Their chief goal is to satisfy the client. The only competition that's in front of them are Themselves The food is always amazing!.The decor is always impeccable and the staff is always professional. Throughout the years I have hosted anniversary gatherings, birthday parties, baby christening and repasts. I've never been disappointed! My prayer is that the Lord would bless them and everything that they touch!“
“Decided to try something new so we stopped. Had no idea that the fish was going to be raw but tried the marinated tuna . Ordered the make your own bowl. It was delicious.Vegetarian options: You can make a bowl any way that you'd like. Fyi...Tofu is available.Parking: Plenty of spots available“
“We love having a freshly made fish dinner right here at Main Line Seafood Market- choose your fish, and how you'd like it cooked, along with any sides, such as broccoli, rice, potatoes, etc. Clean, delicious, and a great choice for a casual and relaxed and friendly atmosphere! And their soups are terrific!“
“Stopped here while on a road trip for a quick slice of pizza. Had two specialty slices from the counter and we loved it! Small place, mostly for to-go, but there was nice seating and clean restrooms for us to use during our stop. Prices were very reasonable. Small parking lot on the corner had ample parking at the time we were there (weekend afternoon).“
“So. It's been quite awhile since my family and I have been to Anthony's in Malvern. I have to say that the more they renovate the worse the restaurant becomes. We took my dad there for his 76th birthday. There were 7 of us altogether. My wife kids and grandson arrived first at 5:15. It was not crowded-there were many tables available for seating. The hostess informed my wife that we could not be seated at a table until all of our guests were in the restaurant. We were a bit confused by this since we had never experienced this before at Anthony's or anywhere else. I told the hostess that my father was a minute out-nonetheless, we could not sit at a table until he arrived. Which was baffling due to the fact that there were at least 10 tables open and no wait. The funny thing is we did not ask to sit down-we were informed that we would not be seated until all guests had arrived. When we spoke to the owner after we bein seated-upon the arrival of our one missing guest-he informed us that this has always been the policy and the main reason is to keep the wait staff from having to come back to the table and explain the specials a second time to the late arrivals or have to take a second drink order. Honestly if my server can't take the time to do that-I will not be able to take the time to figure out what 20% is! After this baffling exchange no specials were explained, we were instructed they were written on the first page of the menu. Which is fine by me if I don't know what something is I'll ask. Now I would have been willing to let all this nonsense slide-we don't get a chance to dine out often-but-and this is the truly disappointing part to all of this. The food was not good. At all. In the past, before the place was remodeled-and they added a bar etc etc the food was magnificent. Our service at this visit was excellent minus the bumpy start but somewhere along the path of expansion and remodeling-the quality and quantity of food has been forgotten. It wasn't just myself who thought this either. There were 7 of us and 5 of our clan were not impressed with the food. Enough so that this will be our last trip to Anthony's of Malvern. It wasn't so much about the whole seating "policy". The facts are -we go out to eat on special occasions. Birthdays, anniversaries, we work hard so we deserve a night out, those types of occasions. I/we want to enjoy the food we order to celebrate those occasions. I ordered the raviolis with two meatballs topped with their pink sauce. The raviolis were overcooked, the meatballs tasted as if they were 1/2 bread crumbs and the pink sauce was bland and unsatisfying. We make the Irish version of pink sauce at home by combining 1/2 jar of Alfredo with a 1/2 jar of marinara. It's not great but it is certainly tastier than what I was served last night. As my wife and kids tell me I've lectured too long! Save yourself the hassle and trade in the Anthony's of Malvern for the Anthony's if Downingtown. In a society that puts so much emphasis on the outside beauty of things, the old adage is true. Beauty is only skin deep. Anthony's of Malvern may look spectacular, something on the inside needs mending. To put it nicely. I've only eaten at Olive Garden once or twice for a reason. It's not truly authentic Italian food. I would spend my money and eat there before sitting-not before all my companions arrive mind you- before dining at Anthony's again. They should be done with the seating policy as well as start a remodel on the quality of the food. As I stated in the beginning of this rant-we've eaten there for decades. We will visit the other Anthony's (Downingtown) when it's time to celebrate Italian style time. In the owner's defense-he did give my father a free piece of tiramisu for his birthday-even though he was late. Thanks“
“The food was good. Well presented, well done but unfortunately, priced extremely high. I ordered 2 appetizers for dinner and it was more than enough. The menu is pretentious, filled with ingredients that I've never heard of so while it peeked my curiosity it also simultaneously squeezed my wallet. I can't justify an 80.00 20 oz bone in rib eye or market price crab cakes. There is a new chef and an updated menu, I just hope the chef doesn't price this place out of business.“
“The food we had was amazing. My friend suggested we go and have dinner at Lehman's Restaurant. He had called ahead to ask about if the had oysters or clams on the half shell and about my food allergy because I am highly allergic to any nut. We were warmly greeted and our waitress came by to take our order.. My friend asked about what beers they had. As soon as the waitress said they have Miller High Life in a bottle my friend was in heaven. My friend had calms on the half shell and a bowl of snapper soup and his main dish was a seafood platter. And my friend insists I get an appetizer so I the mushrooms stuffed with crab and my main dish was fried scallops. The food was simply amazing like they took the time to make everything taste greatParking: Great big parking lot just a few lines need to be painted again“
“We arrived early to enjoy smoked old fashions and a expresso martini. Great bar and bartenders. Dinner was delicious. We ordered octopus, calamari and a meatball. Main entrees included filet mignon, swordfish and salmon followed by different coffees.“
“The food is usually great every time I order but recently the service had declined. I was told a 20 min wait once I returned I was told another 10 or more because they are busy in the kitchen. If you want good fresh seafood cooked this is a good spot. Customer service is another issue.“
“Little gem with a food rating of 8/10I was in the Norristown neighborhood and decided to stop at this Dominican food spot. The rice was nice, grainy, soft and tasty; the salad had a simple yet tasty home style vinaigrette.Beans were watery and not very soft ?and the chicken had a good flavor but it was a little blandBesides that an amazing place.Good atmosphere and good customer service.“
“Tried for the first time yesterday. Ordered 4 combo meals that comes with fries and a can soda. Price wise their combos are $3-$4 cheaper than Wingstop. We tried the garlic parm, hot, Cajun, and hot lemon pepper. First the fries that come with the combo are crinkle cut style and you get a good portion and they were probably the best fries I've had compared to some of the other pizza places or restaurants that serve fries. They were huge and cooked to perfection. The flavor of all the wings were good and were seasoned and sauced evenly. My only negative would be on one of the combos we got an extra small drum and for my wings I think they were fried a little too hard for my taste. also I ordered my combo with shrimp fried rice. The fried rice was good but the shrimp were on the smallish side. But overall good value for your money and great tasting wings and the portion and crispness of fries were a great bonus. I would definitely recommend this place for your Wingstop alternative. I will be ordering from here again.“
“You know the invisible Chinese Food chain that exists nearly everywhere in America? Each has a different name, but they all have the same menu and price? Pak Yue is the _best_ manifestation of that restaurant. Wonton Soup is packed with wontons, you couldn't fit another one in the takeout container. To Go trays barely close, they're so stuffed. If your bill is five, ten cents over a dollar amount they wave it off instead of making you carry nine dimes the rest of the day. They're super generous with sauces. And, amazingly, when they quote "15 minutes" when you call for takeout, it's actually fifteen minutes. If you don't like Pak Yue, you probably just don't like this quasi-franchise of food.“
“It was our first time visiting CSC and I must we felt at home. The owner is welcome and very pleasant. Aunty can cook!!! The chow mein was masta, the bake and salt fish had lots of flavor, and homemade chicken curry that tastes just like mom's. I'll definitely visit again and recommend this restaurant to friends and family.“
“For an Asian establishment serving soul food, it's not bad at all and the portions are enough to last for two meals and I can consume quite a bit. Lol. The service has always been pleasant and served with a smile. Bottom line is you definitely get your money's worth.“
“Goodness I got addicted to the fish tacos from the first night, no exaggeration. Tomorrow is *Taco Tues* so get there and enjoy. ☀️??Vegetarian options: Healthy meals. They'll cater to your commands of what's on the menu. I can't eat beef or pork and I get tired of chicken. They have delicious fish tacos and flounder platters.Parking: Off-street parking right where the store isKid-friendliness: It's a family restaurant“
“You're in for a real treat! The plates here are an amazing mix of flavors and textures that cater to everyone's taste buds, from the little ones to the grown-ups! And let me tell you, the attention and service are simply outstanding! You won't be disappointed!“
“Very good byob seafood spot! Highly recommend! Everything we had was delicious good quality, good portion lots of sauce, reasonable price. And again byob come on date night idea for sure! We had a good time. Food was good. Definitely will be back.“
“Finally tried this place out and this place did not miss. Seasoned enough, big portions and the price wasn't too bad. The person on the phone was also patient with me picking out another platter since they didn't have the chicken Alfredo.“
“Went out for lunch during the week and it was a very good time. Started off with a humongous Bavarian Pretzel that came with brown mustard and a very delicious cheese sauce that I couldn’t stop myself from dipping my other food into. The French fries were freshly cut and very delicious and stole some of the table mates sweet potato fries which were even more delicious. Personally, I got the chicken sandwich that came with fresh cabbage and pickles that they laid a beautiful pieces of chicken on. The sauce was super good too, I wish I had asked for a little cup of it to dip my fries and sandwich in. It was that good! It came on ciabatta bread with the top bun having broiled American white cheese on. Wish I substituted the ciabatta for a brioche bun but it was still delicious. Friends said that their impossible burgers were tasty and delicious as well. Only wish that I was there during an Eagles game it would have been it amazing!Vegetarian options: Impossible burger was delicious.“
“Jin Ding is really good. The owner is now cooking here, and he’s atop Hong Kong chef. If you haven’t been here for a while, you should try their Christmas special. It’s really good and reasonably priced. But you better hurry because it ends by the end of the year. We had the Christmas special and we had stuff to take home. we came back again for an early dinner. Ming, the owner head chef out did himself we had roast duck, bean shoots with garlic, and a fish hot bowl. Super good stuff. Really Chinese tasting food. Felt I’m back in Hong Kong.“
“I stumbled upon this spot while scouting for locations for a show based in Philly. I love seafood and was drawn as well to the stunning intact 50's diner this seafood market is housed in. It was the end of my scout day but detoured to Hill's none the less. So glad I did. Amazed to learn Hill's has been in this space since the 80's. They had an abundant selection of seafood and the staff behind the counter truly couldn't have been more helpful. I picked up a few things like the smoked trout and the ready to eat jumbo shrimp- did I mention the cocktail sauce? I've got to go back for a jar! Also took a prepared crab cake which just needed to be baked in the oven- pan works too-- and they were kind enough to give me a cooking instructions brochure. They've also got fresh baguettes and rolls. I just prepared the crab cake by baking the roll in the oven while baking the crab cake. I had some chili lime aoli which I topped with their cocktail sauce- with a glass of fine chardonnay-- what's not to love?? I will be back for the sushi grade ahi tuna! Thank you!! This place is the highlight of my Philly adventure! I need to add that I grew up near the Chesapeake Bay and know a good crab cake. This crab cake exceeded my expectations.“
