I haven’t had Dragon of Newtown in years since they moved locations and now it makes me think it’s worth the drive from Morrisville. Everything we ordered for a family birthday dinner was delicious. The steamed dumplings were great and General tso chicken in particular was tender and had great taste (definitely has a kick). A great way to feed a larger family gathering even when dining at home!

Fried rice, bland. Boneless ribs, salty. Egg rolls, subpar. Wonton soup was just fair. Chicken and broccoli was good. A disappointment from what I was expecting having not been here in quite some time.

Delicious. Had vegetable spring rolls, garlic broccoli with fried tofu, and seseme chicken. Over all very satisfied with the food and the service was excellent! The garlic sauces were flavourful and not overly sweet. The portions were reasonable for the price. My only wishes would be that the spring roll would be larger or have more veggies and my personal preference would be for either ambient or culturally analogous music rather than contemporary pop hits.
I would definitely return.

My wife and I were very disappointed with our delivered order from Dragon of Newtown. We ordered from them last week and the order was good. This week, the pancakes for my moo shoo vegetables were refrigerator cold, we did not receive eating utensils or napkins (we did the week before). The order was delivered by Door Dash. I called Dragon of Newtown to tell them of the issues and they gave me many excuses. They told me that almost no one complains about the cold pancakes. They told me that they do not always provide eating utensils and napkins. They said they are busy right now and cannot help me. They told me that they would tell the boss and maybe he could help (no call received yet). I strongly suggest to not order food for delivery from Dragon of Newtown because of inconsistency and excuses, instead of service is what was delivered.

On and off customer of 8 years. Prices have increased and portions have decreased. I paid $20 for 1/2 a cup of rice, and about a cup of meat. Seriously? I remember coming in years ago and getting a large that came with over 2 cups of chicken/beef, and paying less than $10 for it.
The food quality has also gotten significantly worse. It's better than your run of the mill chinese takeout, but not by much.
The rice was good, cooked perfectly. Most place seem to overcook rice.
Just go to Duck Sauce. It's 10x better, and you'll get more for what you pay.

Ordered take out. Small amount for high price. Food had no taste. Spring rolls were basically a fried roll with nothing in it. Staff do nice and cordial but I won’t be going back chx and mixed veggies for 13.00. Came in a small bowl too small for price but tge food has no taste at all.

Dragon has been a place in town, since I was a little kid. The owner is wonderful and always remembers me. She is the sweetest lady. I’m giving this 5 stars because it’s everything I expect from take out. This is not a trendy Asian fusion restaurant. This is your local mom and pop shop , takeout place with the typical dishes. If you want trendy food, go elsewhere. I love supporting this business when I can and I love it for what it is.
It is my childhood Chinese take out and it’s just as good as when I was a kid.

The service is literally terrible. I ordered my food and they gave me the smallest container they could ever have of rice. It was supposed to be for two people and we didn’t even get full. We had to go another restaurant and actually eat something normal. Very unhappy.

Ive gone twice in 2 weeks and both times my orders are messed up,The last time I ordered 2 Large orders of Chicken fried rice. I received 2 large ordered of shrimp fried rice. I didn’t discover this till after I got home 20 minutes laterToday I wanted 2 large orders of chicken fried rice and 2 small orders of egg drop soup. I received 2 small ordered of rice and 1 large of soup. I am severely disappointed how the man at the counter can mess up TWO simple orders like this, TWICE. And when another customer came in after me he wanted vegetable fried rice the man at the counter kept saying PORK fried rice. So I fear his order may be messed up too!Whoever the man is that runs the front counter needs to be let go or sat down and talked to about how to LISTEN (also means take out the air pods in your ears) and take orders PROPERLY. This place is lucky I wasn’t allergic to shrimp or I would’ve made this a bigger deal. It’s an easy fix if you choose not to ignore it, so don’t. Be better

The food here is bland and low quality. The General Tso’s Chicken we ordered was so dry and hard it was almost inedible. Suggest going just about anywhere else.

Food is solid. I like that they give you the crispy noodles, duck sauce, spicy mustard and tea when you sit down. The food is solid not great. I have had chicken with broccoli, Sesame chicken, shrimp with garlic sauce. I also had hot and sour, wonton and egg drop soups all were good. The fried rice with the combination lunch and diner specials is also good. Prices are decent also.
