Was there first time today for breakfast. Coffee eggs bacon was fine. Potatoes were BLACK burnt. I don't mind brown crisp potatoes. This was black. Rye bread two little pieces I could give my two year old nephew to eat. I won't be back

After a 35-minute wait, we were served this... and while the omelette was delicious, the potatoes were simply inedible. not just overcooked, but turned into coals, and they served this...

One of my favorite places to eat breakfast! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is quick even when the place is busy. Highly recommend if you want great food and friendly atmosphere!

This is a great little breakfast eatery that is diner style. The food is competitively priced and the staff are quite friendly.

If you want a diner like restaurant for breakfast with good food at reasonable prices, go to Jake's Eatery. The prices are slightly more reasonable than those at Edgewood Café and Mil-Lee's in Yardley. I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. It's nothing fancy, but that's not what I'm looking for in a restaurant for breakfast. Jake's is definitely worth a try!

We made the mistake of giving Jake’s Eatery in Newtown another chance after having visited a few years ago... Big mistake.
Our table was sticky, there were flies buzzing around, and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting.
Service was slow and inattentive...
We ordered omelettes, which came out soaked in grease. One was borderline undercooked, and the other was so greasy my partner couldn’t even finish half. The homefries were mushy, flavorless, and cold. It almost felt like they’d been sitting under a heat lamp for hours and still didn’t get warm.
From what I remember, Jakes used to be a decent local spot, but it has turned into a dirty, poorly managed mess.

Great place for breakfast /lunch. I used to live nearby and when I'm in town it's a great spot for me since they have gluten-free bagels with breakfast! Had a tasty omelette with home fries but being able to have a gluten-free bagel was a real treat! And it actually tastes like a bagel. Service was good, the restaurant was crowded when we arrived so we had to wait about 10 minutes but it was worth it. The only downside is that the noise level when it's crowded is pretty high.
