I liked the croissants, but it was pretty standard. You easily get anything at your local bakery that would be similar in taste. The seating area is not comfortable either - just window seats. More of a bakery that you can stop by when you are on the go. The service was great and the employees were very friendly, kind, and happy to help you out. Overall, I am glad I tried the place out, but it was not anything extraordinary or special to me.
Omg! The best croissant ? I’ve ever had! Today my my first time here. As soon as I started walking into Mamies, the smell of butter and fresh bread ? wafted through the air. Was in newtown this morning for a job, real tired and just needed something in my stomach when i saw a sign that said “croissants this way” and was immediately intrigued. Once i was in there i was very overwhelmed with the amount of croissants, but the two women working the front were very friendly and told me what they had to offer. I got the buttered plain croissant and let me say it was the best one i ever had. Flaky, delicious, not greasy, it felt like i was eating art....
