Every once in a while I bring my 4 year old granddaughter here and she loves Avery. The other day when we came in it was pretty busy so we didn’t get to talk with her like usual but Avery still took the time to come and give my granddaughter a sticker and ask about her day. She looks forward to seeing her every time and is always greeted with a big smile. Thank you Avery for the wonderful experiences!!

I ordered two cappuccino coffees. One was full to the very top and the other was less than half full. Unacceptable. They also forgot to give paper sleeves for our coffees. Coffee was boiling hot so we had to go to the drive thru and ask for them.

I typically am never the type to sit here and write reviews but I see a common theme at this location and now I know I’m not crazy. Unfortunately, there’s a bit of comfort knowing I am not the only one who has had poor experiences at this location….on multiple occasions. A few months ago I had ordered just one of my usual coffees and I happened to ask the girl at drive thru if I could have a straw. I was given my straw but it also came with a heavy eye roll. I shrugged it off because I work customer service and I understand we all have bad days. The next incident was recent, about last week, I came to pick up a few items for my boyfriend and I through the drive thru. In total it was 5 items. I get to the window and was given only my coffee and was told “have a nice day.” I then did mention that there was a few more items in my order and I got a bleak death stare from the employees at the window (who were considerably very young). After that, i only was handed half of the food items I had purchased with a bit of an attitude. I just took the loss because they get super busy at this location and I didn’t really feel like going in / going back through the drive through. I should’ve but I didn’t. But way too many mediocre experiences here unfortunately and I do not have any intentions of visiting this store again.

Best Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The quality here is consistently amazing. If you’re looking for a spot to hang out and get coffee in Newtown then this is the place.

Stopped in for a birthday drink and had a great experience. The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and made the visit feel special. Quick service, good vibes, and an overall pleasant stop. Would definitely come back.

Nice coffee shop like other Starbuckses

Tables and chairs not clean. Had to ask for ours to be wiped down. Seating limited and unavailable because local high school age students took over all seating and parked there with open laptops effectively making it a carry out only. The two of us waiting for 10 minutes for a table. No tables opened up the entire 25 minutes we sat there. Check your cameras from 2pm on.

The manager at this location must be on vacation. The three girls operating the evening shift had no interest in working. When I arrived to purchase two bags of coffee and have them grounded, the cashier found it was more important to converse with her girlfriend who unexpectedly showed up at the drive through window. She literally just left the coffee beans on the counter to chat away with her friend. When I asked the other two employees to grind the beans they said they couldn’t because they didn’t take my order. Seriously? There was no on else in the store except the evening delivery man so it’s not as if the three girls were overloaded with performance duties. Fifteen minutes to grind coffee beans. Maybe less socializing with girlfriends and actually doing your job might be an idea.

I go here often before work and get the melon burst energy. Was just there and they were out. I got the tropical and left a $10 tip. Came to work. I ask for no ice so I can tape the top and put it in the work fridge. Lasts longer. I got to work and there’s a giant black bug in it. Nope I’m good. I’m done. That’s the last thing I buy from there

Ordered a mocha cookie crumble and they gave me the wrong frap and promptly and very flat said have a nice day. I said “this isn’t the right frap” and the drive thru worker just looked at me rather than try to fix it. Fine, whatever. Proceeds to tell me again in the rudest most monotone manner to have a nice day after screwing up my order and not giving a damn to fix it. Like I’m sorry. It’s not about the mistake, it’s the lack of accountability when trying to address the mistake.

Starbucks can be inconsistent but this one always serves the perfect cappuccino. The staff are friendly and the service excellent and efficient. I go out of my way to come here for my daily coffee. Thank you to an excellent, well managed store.
