This place is only great with Jack the bartender, he makes the BEST EXPRESSO MARTINI hands down. It's hard to find someone to make a true expresso martini, he makes it everytime!

I stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday before going to the Newtown Theater for a concert. As you enter there is a average size bar with tables along the perimeter walls. To the left is a large dining area and in the back an outdoor covered porch with a small bar which is where I sat. I ordered a turkey club which came with homemade chip fries and a pickle. Turkey was fresh as well as the bread. My only menu complaint is that everything had bacon in it or on it. Other than that...

Great food and atmosphere but I'm not sure what is going on with the service. Each time we go and sit outside, we are waiting an average of 15-20 minutes before having anyone come over and begin service. I can understand if they were busy, but they aren't when we go.

I think they need to train the younger staff better on prompt service and checking in on your patrons to see if they need anything and if they are pleased with everything. I hope this...
