The Fancy Fig Cafe and Catering

The staff here are always great, and the ownership are truly phenomenal. I've eaten here and been to events catered by them. Somehow the food always grabs my attention, even when I am in engrossing company.

I recently had a conversation with one of the owners about salt, and as a recommendation she ran to the back and put together a small takeaway of a smoked salt we were discussing. They're just those kind of people.

They also go out of their way as denizens of Penns Park. When my GF recently was in an accident at the nearby intersection (not her fault), the staff came rushing out to her aid.

These are just flat out good people, who make great food. The kind of business we ought to go out of our way to support.

This place is a hidden gem! If you haven't tried it, you must. There are places to sit inside, but the outside area is fantastic when the weather holds up. I had the salmon BLT and it was the best sandwich I've had in a very long time. The roasted potatoes were also very flavorful. On top of that, the prices can't be beat for the quality and portions. I am definitely making this a regular stop.

Burger was overcooked. 5$for sides on top of $15+ entrees. Didn't get silverware, no napkins, no straws. I served myself half the time 😂 girls were too busy chatting with themselves.

I ordered the quiche and saw our server, who is constantly touching money and bussing dirty tables, pull the quiche out of the display with her bare hands and put it on a plate. No gloves no napkin no utensils. As someone who has anxiety about germs I had to tell her I didn’t want it anymore and that’s just a crappy conversation to have to have. Anyone normal person (germaphobe or not) would find this unsettling. I’ve never been back as it makes their cleanliness untrustworthy. If they’re doing this in front of customers, image what they’re doing in the kitchen. It’s a shame because they have good food and a nice building.

Came here after some baseball games at PDC and loved it. Food was excellent,and staff was very friendly. I left my credit card accidentally and Sarah mailed it to me (live in NJ). She really saved my butt! Thank you!!!!!

Stopped in for breakfast. Very casual and quaint atmosphere. Our server Avi was attentive and friendly and polite. The sausage egg and cheese burrito was delicious served with a side of fruit salad and a side of fresh homemade salsa. Pricing was on par with other breakfast places in the area (not cheap but not too expensive either) We would definitely come back again!

Good food in a very small dining area. The service was very slow.

Ordered take out, everything smelled great, yet it a great deal of time (over 25 min) for a breakfast sandwich and a piece of quiche with breakfast potatoes. Also, after ordering, they came back and told me they ran out of bagels, good thing I did not get my sandwich on a bagel. The food was excellent.

I have enjoyed the food at Fancy Fig before and returned today for breakfast. Did not disappoint!! My son enjoyed a delicious breakfast sandwich and my son-in-law enjoyed a daily special - eggs Benedict but with salmon. The French toast was YUM!! I came home with their quinoa salad and chicken salad - also delicious!! Thank you!!

That’s amazing It really tastes good, and the service attitude is also very good.

I stopped in on Thursday, and had the most delicious lunch that I have had in a very long time. Everything was prepared to perfection and am now considering The Fancy Fig to cater my January Party!
