Temperance House is great! This is an OLD establishment so keep that in mind. But if you want quiet, quaint, and cozy this is the spot for you. We easily found parking on the street and Kathy was warm and accommodating from the moment we walked in. We got to a quick history of the establishment as well! Our room was clean and adorable. Had the opportunity to visit this adorable Inn this past weekend. The staff and service were impeccable. Classic, period appropriate charm and decor. We were met with a clean and well stocked room and adjacent coffee bar. The room itself was spacious and all of the furniture was extremely comfortable and well laid out. The Inn itself is conveniently located within close walking distance to adorable shops and cafes. Will absolutely be visiting again!
My group sat at the bar for live music on a Friday night. The bar is separate from the dining room, and completely separate from the hotel part. The acoustics were good, bartenders were great and friendly, about 30 beers on tap - some local to Philly area and some speciality. Friends enjoyed their food with it being easy to eat at the bar.
